Wanted $90.34 to change oil; we had the $39.95 GM coupon-he said that didn't apply cause ours needed 9 quarts but he took off $20 for tire rotation that was supposed to be free anyway. Called our home dealership who said service should be $55 max for oil change, system check, top off & rotation. When finished knowing I had to leave, they didn't come tell me it was ready; I saw it myself. I specifically told them I did not want the battery kit that was not needed; charged $10. When questioned at pay out, there was an excuse for everything & price did not change. Only positive-they fixed recall we were aware of but hadn't received notice it was available. More

Terrible I am writing this review to assist other customers and hopefully preventing them from such a tedious and frustrating experience. First of all, this is I am writing this review to assist other customers and hopefully preventing them from such a tedious and frustrating experience. First of all, this is my second experience with GALLES. Approximately 2 years ago I contacted GALLES Chevrolet online and scheduled an appointment to test drive a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 LTZ Crew cab pickup. Later after a 45 minute wait, I was met by a young man, cannot remember his name, and was allowed to take the vehicle for a test drive. I liked the vehicle and was interested in purchasing it and informed the young man. The young man condescendingly said "you know the vehicle is $50,000?" And I informed him that I was aware of that and was financially equipped to proceed with the purchase. I filled out paperwork and he asked that I send him the VIN and pics of my trade in to help assist with moving forward with the purchase. I sent him the VIN and pics of the vehicle as soon as I returned to my home. After several attempts to get feedback or a returned call from the young man, I decided to move on to a dealership who wanted my business. Within the next few weeks, I showed up to Reliable Chevrolet and purchased a beautiful new 2014 Chevy Silverado 4x4 ltz crew cab pickup within 4 hours of arriving without an appointment. The staff was friendly and the financial manager was very accommodating. I later received a call from Mrs. Galles who called as a courtesy to check on my service. I informed her of my unfortunate experience with her business and she was very apologetic and asked that I consider her dealership in the future. On September 9th, I decided to give Galles Chevrolet another chance, as I needed to get the parking sensor looked at for service and was interested in purchasing a new vehicle for my wife. I scheduled an appointment online as I live 180 miles from Albuquerque and received a call back advising that they could not accommodate the time I had requested and was told that I could take my vehicle in earlier. I had plans to attend a business meeting and asked if I could receive a shuttle ride or a loaner car so that I could drop my vehicle off then attend my meeting. I was told promptly that they do not offer courtesy rides nor do the have loaner vehicles. If I wanted to take my vehicle I had to make other arrangements or reschedule. That should have been my first clue that customer service continues to be subpar at Galles Chevrolet. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Leonard Garcia who sat in my vehicle and rudely said "you know your warranty expired after 36000 miles." I advised him that I had purchased an extended bumper to bumper warranty. He then said with a smirk, " it costs "$108 to run the diagnostics and if the warranty doesn't cover it you have to pay it." Again I smiled and said yes, I understand that I am responsible for payment if my warranty doesn't cover the cost. I then noticed a gooseneck hitch I was considering purchasing and asked for a price. I was dismissed and asked a second person. He said "I think it's about $700 or $900 then walked away. I left my vehicle and received a call that the part needed, had to be ordered from Denver and would be in the next day. I reminded him that I was from out of town and said that I needed to pick up my vehicle until they could get the part tomorrow. He said that the sensor module was under the seat and the seat was removed and they had to keep it until the next day. Again no accommodations for shuttle or rental car. He said the vehicle would be ready by the next day at 2pm. I returned to pick up my vehicle the next day at 330pm and the vehicle was not ready. Leonard was not in so I was directed to Christopher Ortega. He informed me that the new part did not correct the problem and it was in fact a sensor that was malfunctioning. They could not replace it without the warranty representatives authorization and once it is approved, it would take time to complete. He could not give me an estimated time of completion. I am beyond frustrated by this point and received no consolation for my troubles. I finally picked up my vehicle at 530pm and received no acknowledgement of my inconvenience and frustration other than a bill for $100. I do not usually complain or waste time completing a review, but I thought it was important for others considering using Galles for business" I feel concern for others who cannot express their discontent for the poor service and unprofessional staff like our children, grandparents and grandchildren. It is important that they don't get exploited. I hope the owners take a long hard look at customer service and understand how much business they have probably lost to dealerships who truly care! All the commercials and bulletin boards are futile when the service is so bad! More

I had purchased new car in 2010, traded it for a Ford Pickup and applied for refund of unused credit life and gap insurance. They did not know how to do it was not very accomdating at all. They are good at the sale but terrible and service afterwords. I had service done there twice and was treated terrible. Had purchased a extended warranty but whenhad an issue was told they no longer dealt with that warranty company and I was on my own. I would never buy another car there. More
I inherited a '95 Saturn SL2. It only had 35,000 miles on it, but it hadn't been driven or serviced for quite a while. I told Candice Munoz, the Service Advisor, that I needed to take the car on a long t on it, but it hadn't been driven or serviced for quite a while. I told Candice Munoz, the Service Advisor, that I needed to take the car on a long trip to help a sick family member, and I was nervous about the safety of the vehicle. Candice had their mechanics thoroughly check it out, and it needed a lot of work. They replaced the spark plugs, cracked drive belt, transmission filter, coolant, ect sensor and connector, and a valve cover gasket. They even gave me a loaner car because the repairs would take quite a while. The car drove like a dream through some pretty desolate areas for over 3,000 miles straight. I am very grateful to and impressed with Candice Munoz and the Galles mechanics. More

Our vehicle broke down while we were on vacation and Galles was right around the corner so we took our vehicle ther experience was just that, great! The Galles staff members were very quick to greet me and they were very friendly, experienced and helpful. Candice Munoz greeted me upon arrival and was very professional, experienced and friendly. She explained everything that was to be done to our Tahoe and what exactly would be covered by warranty and what wouldn't. She gave us a time frame and our vehicle was done exactly on time. While waiting for our vehicle to get serviced I observed other Galles employees not from the service area going above and beyond to help other patrons in the service area. Now that's what I call SERVICE! Thank you Galles Chevrolet. More
My recent visit to the Galles Service department was a real pleasure. My service advisor Chris was waiting as I arrived, he fully explained what was to be done and an approximate completion time. He updated the progress when there was a slight delay. The technicians (Jerry and others) who worked on my Corvette were able to diagnose and fix a door light module issue. Upon completion Chris fully detailed how the problem was resolved. I was extremely pleased with his service knowledge and interpersonal skills. Ashley was responsible for ordering the module after an earlier Diagnostic visit. The part arrived promptly. I received post cards from her that the parts were ordered and again when they arrived. She also coordinated my appointments, both diagnostic and service, and always completed the customer satisfaction follow up phone calls. Ashley is extremely pleasant and excels at customer relations. It is like she is your personal guardian angel. A year earlier I met a most cordial salesman in Andy Michael. He made the ordering and purchase of the vehicle a real pleasure. Whenever I am at the dealership he always has a kind word. I would like to thank everyone involved with the purchase and service of my car.
