The sales people (Nef) , sales manager (Mr. gonzalez) , GM ( Will Baxter) do not care about you at all. They will leave out important details regarding leasing that us as consumers are not aware of just to get you to do business with them. If you have a lease and are going to this dealership to do a trade in and get another lease you need to get the car inspected yourself prior to leaving it with them.. they will not tell you upfront that they do not do the final inspection. The car will be out of your possession at that point and you may get a LARGE bill from VW over a month later!!! I asked them several times if everything was squared away with the existing lease and they never ADVISED me that they do not check the car when taking it back... I thought when they walked around my car they were inspecting it for return, they had also requested pictures which I thought was to make sure the car was OK. It was not ! Switch & Bait .. Filing a claim with BBB also ! have been driving VW for almost 20 years..previously done business with Neftin & VW Van Nuys = much better experience More

Brought my car in for an oil change, picked it back up with damage/crack to the front passenger side tire molding which was not there beforehand. To make matters worse, the damaged part was attached to my car with a zip tie. A ZIP TIE!!! No longer attached with screws or anything to keep it in place, partially hanging off. Was not warned of this damage when picking my car up, assume they thought I would not notice. I called the next day, told them about it and they asked for me to bring the car back in. Since I have a day job I had to wait til the following Saturday. When I came in I was told that it wasn't them and that it was probably me who damaged the car, they wouldn't cover it, I had to pay an additional $280.00 to take it in AGAIN! AND THEY ASKED WHY I WAITED A WEEK!! I have a job!! Service manager was rude. General manager sent me photos of what my car looked like before as "proof", insisting that there was existing damage, when there clearly was not. The pictures I received showed no damage prior!!! ARE WE BLIND?? Yet they still, repeatedly told me it wasn't them and that there was existing damage, it's my fault, and they would never use a zip tie!! I'm not even mentioning the hours I waited, so they could drag out this process. If this isn't gaslighting I don't know what is!! Toxic people. Toxic environment. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. More

One rep started negotiation for a lease, next day without finishing the deal passed to someone else( but called to make sure we are coming, later called to say that he was there since 8 am. and has to go home) We came actually to take the car. The new rep changed all the numbers, car was not ready, but they promised to clean it. When I asked to show us new nombers that were not clear for us he got irritated, said that he is just a messenger. I told him show nombers if we like it we take if if we don't we leave. We left with nothing. Waisted 2 days of very valuable time...Manager never got involved. Never again would go there. Never would recommend to anyone to deal with them...Rep names are Allen and Sam. Stay away. Visited 29th and 30th of January 2019. We decided to work with another dealership, and had such a pleasant experience. More
Rip off!!! What a joke! I bought a brand new car - 2019 Jetta - in the Summer of ‘18. Within the first 5,000 miles, I had to take the car in for service. Galpin VW had my br I bought a brand new car - 2019 Jetta - in the Summer of ‘18. Within the first 5,000 miles, I had to take the car in for service. Galpin VW had my brand new car for 5 weeks. 5 WEEKS!!!! Not only did I have to make a payment on the brand new car that I did not have, but I had to pay for a part of the “loaner“ car that they gave me. Unbelievable. Sooooooooo disappointed. No one has helped. No one has stepped up to reimburse. DO NOT give your business, your time, your money, your energy.. to Galpin VW! More

Stay Away If you're looking to purchase or lease a brand new vehicle PROBLEM free, then I suggest you take your business and money elsewhere. I leased a new 2014 VW Jetta at this location and brought the vehicle home only to realize the headlights weren't turning on. Day 1 and the "new" vehicle is already faulty. The salespeople who sold me my vehicle, Sherif & Adrian, were very adamant on me purchasing this specific vehicle stating "there were no other vehicles like this one in the color black." Being 18 at the time, I fell for their xx. Mind you these two salespeople no longer work at this establishment (hmmmm I wonder why?). I'm convinced they were aware of the lights issue and took advantage of me at the time. Now here I am, stuck in a 36 month lease with this faulty vehicle. Fast forward a couple of months after the lights issue, now we're having electrical issues. The lights on the dashboard that turn on in order to notify you when there is a specific issue in the vehicle randomly turn on and off or start blinking. How am I supposed to know if there's something wrong with the car if these lights are constantly flickering like a Christmas tree? I don't. I once got a flat tire at 2 o'clock in the morning and the tire pressure light that constantly comes on and off or flickers didn't even bother coming on WHEN IT ACTUALLY NEEDED TO. I've taken it in to a different dealership 4 or 5 times in order to solve this issue and they've told me its a manufacturing/electrical issue with the vehicle. They pretty much told me Galpin sold me a faulty vehicle and go back to them or I should look into getting corporate involved due to their unethical business sales. I contacted corporate at the time of these issues and they refused to help me stating, they're legally not bound to. I literally asked them to replace the vehicle and I'll continue with my payments or take the vehicle back and they can do whatever the xxxx they wanted with it (re-sell, re-lease, etc) as long as they just left me alone. They refuse and after bickering back and force with corporate and not having the issues with my vehicle resolved, I gave up. Now I'm coming to the end of my lease and I'm still upset about these issues that were never resolved. I went to to Galpin VW and notified them of all the xx they've put me through over the duration of the last 36 months and the best they could offer me was waiving the disposition fee if I decided to lease with them or any Galpin dealer. Why would I want to be stuck in another 36 month lease with this shady establishment? I don't. I asked them to take care of the over mileage fee and that I would be willing to lease with another Galpin dealer and they refused. So after all the xx they put me through and the one request I settled on, they denied. I contacted corporate again and they refused to help me (Shocker). They also do this thing where they suggest you look into outside help aka legal assistance because the minute you mention you'll do that, they hang up in your face cause they legally no longer have to help you (I learned this in Business Law class and while speaking with corporate they tried this tactic on me multiple times and when I called them out on it they stutter cause they don't know what to say). This place and company truly does not care for it's consumers. Their ethical business practices are an absolute joke. People purchase new cars in order to be problem free, not deal with all these issues. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I've written papers and done presentations in school about why you should stay away from Volkswagen and Galpin VW due to their unethical business practices and let my clients know the same. More

Just wanted to give a big thanks to Mike Mehdipour and Jose Gonzalez for helping me out in obtaining my brand new 2017 Tiguan and trading in my Scion. They both made the process possible, painless and were very patient with me after being there for hours and past close time. Mike was very helpful and informative which made me feel comfortable with him and guided me in the right direction. I believe that is important when making a car purchase. He was also generous enough to make himself available to assist me with anything that would arise regardless of what it was, including making a service appointment. After having many experiences with different dealerships, Galpin Vokswagen has been the best! More

Some of the car sales personnel can be rude, they over look you, and they won't approach if you don't look like a sale to them. On April 19, 2016 I called Galpin VW between 8:30am - 8:40am to schedule an appointment for my vehicle a 2012 Volkswagen CC, because the engine was presenting mechanical malfunctions. They gave me an appointment that same day at 10 am. My dad and I dropped off the vehicle, one of their service tech's (D****l) took over. He then lead my dad and I to the service office were we waited for Galpin's driver who was going to take us home. Exactly at 1:13pm on April 19, 2016 I received a phone call from Galpin's Service Manager J** W***s. Telling me that while their technician was test driving my car he had gotten in an accident and my car was damaged pretty badly. From how things seemed my car was a totaled loss, apparently the damages that were caused to my vehicle weren't repairable?! I was speechless,very upset, disappointed, but yet I asked if their technician was okay?! As I was talking to the Service Manager I got the impression that he didn't want us coming to the dealership!! I informed him that in an hour, or so we'll be there, and that I wanted to talk to his technician. I got thrown off when he told me to call my insurance and make my claim?! My car was under their responsibility. The explanation that I got from the service manager, a picture. Then he just throw the xx out of what had occurred. Weren't they suppose to get their insurance involved? Once I get into the dealership the service manager J** informs me that the technician was sent home because he wasn't feeling well. What a bunch of xx!! Obviously the accident didn't happen the way they said and they are covering their xxxxx! Galpin was buying time and apparently they were able to make a decision for me at the time of the accident, but they couldn't work out a deal with me after they wrecked my car. Ain't that some xxxx huh?! Until today I don't have a car and they don't care what stress they put me through, or how was I going to transport myself around. A xxxxing meal from the company's restaurant for my family and me a complement from a Galpin Manager offered to us. Wow!! In a way he looked down at us and over looked at us. Maybe because we were Hispanic and of course they know that we aren't heard much, because we are seen as small people. I looked for lawyers but unfortunately they weren't able to help. Even though I had my paperwork, pictures, and other proof. There was negligence from everyone involved. One of the receptionist from the Ford Towing site that works for Galpin and who picked up my vehicle from the scene was so rude. We weren't even there to see or speak with her. She alleged to my insurance company that my vehicle was dropped off after the accident. Really?! I have the paperwork, photos, and the phone call from that day!! This caused me stress, headaches, and a miscarriage. I also had to stop my plans because and things that I had pending. Every time that I hear on the radio or pass by the Galpin dealership it makes me feel angry all over again. For being a big well known Dealership, they sure didn't respond how they should of have. They are all talk. When you need to get a hold of someone after you purchase your car, you just can't seem to get in contact with them. I was a loyal customer for 2 years. Never missed a payment or was behind on payments. They are xxxxing shady son of xxxxxxx. More
