Crystal, I’m sorry for the delay in repairs for your vehicle. Having Progressive as your insurance provider meant that we need to wait on the insurance company to send an adjuster out to complete an estimate for your vehicle. The initial estimate from the insurance adjuster omitted quite a few crucial pieces, including substantial frame rail damage in which the adjuster needed to come back to the dealership to rewrite. Once that occurred, the insurance company had to add a front left frame rail to the vehicle as it was crushed. Progressive put us on hold and sent an evaluator out to check the vehicle and evaluate for a total loss before we could continue with repairs. Once the repairs were approved, your vehicle had to be sent to our service department to pull the engine from the vehicle in order to replace the frame rail, which is an extensive process. Once the engine was removed we were able to install the frame rail within a week and get the engine reinstalled. Once those major repairs were completed, could we then move on to the bodywork repairs. Overall, this was quite a substantial repair.
