Very bad experience I would never go to this dealership again. My wife and I walked into the dealership on a Friday. There were 2 customers inside the dealership and I would never go to this dealership again. My wife and I walked into the dealership on a Friday. There were 2 customers inside the dealership and no one helped us. After 45 minutes of waiting I had to ask the manager if there is anyone that could help me and I already have a vehicle picked out. Finally the manager asked one of the sales reps that was sitting around to help us. We told him what car we wanted and the sales rep told us to come back in 2 hours and it will be ready. 2 hours later we came back and the sales rep told us it will only take 1 more hour, every hour after that he kept saying 1 more hour. 4 hours later I told him we had to leave to pick our daughter up from daycare, he told me 1 more hour. Now its been a total of 6 hours of waiting and still no car so I walked out. The next day the sales rep called and told me that the car is ready. My wife and I went back to the dealer and found the car was finally ready but there was no one available to do the paperwork. Finally 2 hours later someone was available to do the paperwork. 2nd problem I had was getting the registration, as it was getting closer for the temporary registration to expire I started calling the dealer to see when I would be receiving it in the mail. Every time I called the person would tell me it will be in the mail any day. So I waited a week and still no registration, called back again got the same answer. This went on for 3 weeks and now my registration is expired and they told me any day and if I get a ticket they will pay for it. This has been nothing but a headache. I cant wait for this lease to be up so I can return this car and never go back. More

If this can WARN only 1 person & save them being scammed Darlene Susan has misrepresented what "Approved" means in terms of qualifying for a Loan. I used blueSky.com as a portal to fill out a loan application for a subprime auto loan. Upon completion, a response came back immediately via text message. Here it is; Good afternoon Louis my name is Darlene Susan. I have received your credit application in regards to your online application for your auto loan. Congratulations, this is a special finance wo department and you are approved. We have every make and model available for our department. Please call at your earliest convenience so I can go over the details of the loan with you. Looking forward to meeting you. Darlene Susan 631-255-9061 Upon receiving the text, I called and spoke with Darlene and asked SPECIFICALLY what "Approved" means. I was told "It means your approved for $35,000 and you also qualify for the No Money Down Program. I was happy to hear this as I know I have sub par credit. I repeated to Darlene Susan "so I'm absolutley approved for $35,000" She said "yes, come in and you are going to be "Interviewed" and based on that interview we will work with the approving banks to get you in a vehicle." Of course once I arrived, I was asked to fill out ANOTHER credit type application asking for my SS number and information that Garden City Mazda SHOULD HAVE ALREADY HAD if I were "Approved". Upon my inquiry, Darlene told me it was to "RELEASE" the information I already put on the blueSky.com site. This made little to no sense to me. I then asked Darlene to share with me why on the phone call, she asked me to "DO NOT TOUCH YOUR CREDIT, YOUR CREDIT IS VERY FRAGILE. You know that, right?" I said I am well aware and will not touch my credit. With that knowledge in mind, why would Darlene be asking me (an already approved person - with fragile credit) to fill out ANOTHER fresh application to allow Garden City Mazda to put my information out there and fish for financing? Somethings not right!!!! After an hour wait Darlene walked by and said "someone is going to come out and grab me in a minute." A very nice girl came and handed me back my paperwork and informed me that "I" could use their "Partner Program"... a program that is essentially a short term Co-Signer loan. THIS IS NOT WHAT IS KNOW AS "I" QUALIFY... This is "I" and a "Co-Signer" possibly qualify once they rerun the loan apps with the "Partner" information. So where did the "Congrats YOU are approved" disappear to? The sales woman asked what kind of a vehicle I was looking for and I said something under $10,000 that had a monthly payment of $150. To which she replied "What, $150...That's a cellphone payment!" She left and spoke to the usual Sales Manager and presented a list of 8 to 10 yrs old vehicles that were under $10K with high mileage and above Kelly Blue Book pricing for Dealer Purchase. At this point, I respectfully chose to no longer waste my time with this bait and switch, unethical, flimflam, unscrupulous unprincipled shady, unprofessional, slippery, underhanded organization that runs a business under the name of Garden City Mazda. NOTE: I'm sure there are wonderful people who work at this establishment. I unfortunately haven't been blessed enough to have encounterd one or any of them. More

When I arrived for my appointment, I was met by Mike Aktay who sped me through the paperwork process and he repeated to me the work I brought my car in for. I was going to wait for my service to be completed, so Mike showed me the waiting area and offered me coffee or bottled water. I calculated that my wait would be about 90 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised when Mike returned about 45 minutes later to tell me my car was ready. I checked out, got the keys to my vehicle and I was done. Mike thanked me for coming in and waved goodbye. More
