Hassel free no preasure buying experience As a previous Mazda owner I felt it was to my advantage to go back to this dealership to price a new car. Actually, the car sold itself the CX5 is impressive and has great safety features which are all included as standard items. The salesmen Phil was very nice and made me feel like an old friend. The manager Francisco was very accommodating and worked hard to make a sale. The only word of advice is watch out for the extra three months they try to tack on to your payments. In my opinion it's a tool used to try to get back some incentives which is unnecessary, but after I balked they removed them, then all was well and I walked out with a new car. More

The garden city Mazda is great, but I did not appreciate my encounter with Francisco, and have I known sooner, I would not have purchased my vehicle at Garden city. Overall, working with Cesar and Michael D'Andrea was awesome. Stay away from Francisco, absolutely disgusting and low. More
Unwelcoming, unpleasant and unprofessional We basically were ignored for the first 15 mins walking into the dealership. Not sure if it was because we did not make an appointment. There were several employees just sitting at their desks with no customers and no one even bothered to come up to us. Finally, a manager like person noticed us and asked one of the sales person to attend to us. sales person was friendly, somewhat helpful, and went with us for a test drive. I was a little confused though when the sales person said there was no optional package that came with the model I wanted, which turned out there was. There was another sales person overheard the conversation and pointed this out. Despite all that, the major disappointment I had was, when I was discussing the numbers with the sales manager, Francisco Espinal, the exact word he told me was, " you cannot afford this car." I felt insulted, ended the conversation, and walked out of the dealership. There are plenty of ways to tell a customer that you cannot match what the customer is asking, personal insult is definitely not one of the ways. This kind of rudeness is completely uncalled for. We drove another 20 minutes and went to another Mazda dealership in Long Island, where we were treated with coffee, donuts, and most of all, respect and professionalism. We closed the deal the same day at the other dealership. Will not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

Neal, the financier was the icing on the cake and transfirmed a great visit into an excellent one. Between the two of them my wife and I found a vehicle we loved, which became the vehicle we own because of their willingness to go the extra mile. When we arrived on our second visit our paperwork was ready and our insurance was already transferred from our Honda Crv lease to our 2014 Cx5 grand touring Liza also did a fantastic job showing us the functions of the car with a practiced ease. Do not hesitate to visit this excellent dealership, they will go out of their way to find you a vehicle at the right price, the sure did for us and have a customer for life. More

We haggled a bit, but in the end I feel I got a super deal on my CPO 2014 CX-5 grand touring! She's fully loaded, remarkably clean and red ??. This is my 3rd Mazda (1st from GC Mazda) and I'm very happy!! Garrick and Eddie got me out fast and were a pleasure to deal with. Dealership a bit of a pit but they know and planning a long overdue renovation. Would definitely recommend checking them out! Zoom Zoom!! More

Phil Tochterman went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience in choosing my first Mazda. He took the time to let me test drive both the Mazda3 5-Door and Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring AWD. Without Phil's guidance and patience in answering questions, I would have never ventured to select the CX-3 - a car vastly different than my previous three Volkswagens. And I'm so glad I did. I absolutely love this car. Not only did Phil give me a phenomenal deal on a lease but he also put in a lot of effort to search and find the model in the color I wanted, which was not available anywhere on Long Island. He was as excited as me when he called to say he found my car. You can tell with Phil - customers come first and he wants the best for them. Neal Matos, finance director, also puts customers first. Great Car buying experience! Well it was that time again to trade up my Mazda CX-5, and since my previous salesman is no longer with the dealer I decided to deal with George Schul Well it was that time again to trade up my Mazda CX-5, and since my previous salesman is no longer with the dealer I decided to deal with George Schultheis & it was an absolute pleasure! I have been in touch with George several months before with my lease coming to an end to decide the right time to trade up I have been in touch with George several months before with my lease was coming to a close.The time is now because I only have 2 months left on my lease and he wanted me to take advantage of the Black Friday deal ,,keeping my payment around the same was crucial to me and my wife George knew this and it did everything possible to accommodate us,now I did shop around a little and the fact that George bought our old CX-5 which we loved was the deciding factor because I did not have to worry about any excess wear or tear whatsoever, the deal was so good we decided to upgrade to the grand touring for only 9 dollars more a month! I felt we deserved the GT due to the extra bells and whistles, it's just a beautiful little truck when all dressed up! Anyway we closed the deal and it was just a smooth seamless process, George deliverd the vehicle and took his time showing my wife had to work and adjust everything & could not be any more cordial,professional and informative! knowing the vehicle/product you sell I feel is extremely important to the consumer, Eddie in finance had us dot the i's and cross the t's and did not pressure me into buying anything extra but did inform us on some beneficial packages , he also threw in a voucher for our first service free! and was just as friendly AND also expedient I might add!,I recommend this dealership to anybody looking to purchase/lease a new Mazda! They treat you like a friend and their customer service/attention is second to none,it speaks volumes and it's no suprise they are number one in sales! More

Our initial meeting on the showroom floor was by a salesperson who was very proactive; she asked if we needed help and when we said yes, she said she was busy but would send someone right over. We dealt with William who knew the details of the CX5 inside out and was very informed about all the options the vehicle came with. We found the perfect vehicle and negotiated a price we were comfortable with. There was some confusion with our paperwork since the showroom was busy and apparently their finance department took some time getting approval. We left with the car we wanted, which we love, but there were some issues with the paperwork that left us with a bad taste. When we addressed the problem, the management and sales team were quick to respond and did everything they could to make the situation right. They were professional, courteous and really cared about ensuring that we were happy with Garden City Mazda. Other dealerships are just trying to move cars and the customers are just dollar signs. At Garden City Mazda, they definitely care that their customers are happy when they leave. We LOVE our new CX5 and are very happy with how we were treated. We will definitely lease from them again. More
