We went to the dealership for an Oil Change but while we were there we decided to ask about our options on our lease plan. We were in the last year of a lease but still had about 7 months to go. As we talked, Lance Karmowski gave us several plans & one was an upgrade to another SUV with a monthly payment for just slightly more than what we were paying on our current lease. We did a test drive. Also, talked to Harvey Paine, who we had worked with on a previous purchase. It was a no brainer. So we drove home in a new SUV with hardly no change to our budget, thanks to Lance & Harvey. Also, a special thanks to Winnie Lewis for making the paperwork a pleasant experience. It's mostly all computerized & the whole top of her desk is right out of 'Star Wars'. Steve Welch gave us an orientation on all the latest features & walked us thru setting up the OnStar & SiriusXM Radio Systems. We thought we were coming to Garlyn Shelton to just start the process of finding another vehicle. We had intended to look at several other dealerships. Purchased a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate back in December 2025 utilizing the on line purchase service. Purchased a flight from Alabama to the dealership only to be deceived. Spoke with the salesman December 2025 utilizing the on line purchase service. Purchased a flight from Alabama to the dealership only to be deceived. Spoke with the salesman multiple times keeping him up to date with my arrival time. Upon arrival I was greeted with a handshake and a smile only to lied to. Upon receiving my truck I was issued only one key fob. I immediately asked where's the other key fob. The salesman quickly stated that they took the truck in on trade and that he would get the other key fob emphasizing that people come in looking a vehicles and end up making purchases and later bring back the spare key, ensuring me that he would mail me the key. Well here it is 5 months later and still no key. At one point I would receive updates via text. I have called, texted and attempted to call the salesman, only to find that his voicemail was full. Future buyers BEWARE the on line purchase system it's flawed! Hopefully someone will reach out to me and we can discuss false promises. More
