Fresh out of college, I was ready to purchase a new car. Before I visited Garnet, I shopped around at FIVE other local dealerships. The other dealers kept trying to sell me a 2010 model as it would give me a 0.9% financing rate and it would be less expensive. However, I wasn't searching for a 2010, I wanted a 2011 and wouldn't settle for anything less. When I was at the fifth dealership, I thought that I had struck gold as they had the vehicle I wanted in the color I wanted with the packages I wanted. Then I saw the price and it was slightly over what I wanted to pay but I figured I would suck it up and deal. My friend and I were chatting about the difficulties of purchasing a car when he told me that I should get in touch with Jordan Clarius at Garnet VW. Seeing as this would be the SIXTH dealer I had visited, my patience was running thin and I just wanted this process to end, NOW. The previous dealer I visited was kind enough to copy the window sticker for me and I decided to take it with me in hopes that it might serve as leverage. When I stepped foot in Garnet, I was promptly greeted and treated with respect. Try going into a BMW dealership and getting any respect as a person under 25 - it won't happen. Jordan and I chatted about what I was looking for and he assured me that it would be no problem locating the vehicle I wanted. I presented the window sticker to Jordan and he told me that this particular vehicle was actually on their lot! The previous dealer would have had to perform a dealer to dealer trade and because of this, Jordan was able to give me an even more competitive price. After test driving and inspecting the vehicle, I signed the papers that afternoon. Jordan and his team were helpful, friendly and best of all NOT PUSHY. They were interested in making me comfortable with my purchase and helping me understand the paperwork. I didn't feel rushed or pushed to make a decision that afternoon, it just so happened that I was ready to make the down payment and put this process to bed. If it weren't for Jordan and his awesome team at Garnet, I would have ended up paying more and more importantly I would have been uncomfortable and unhappy. Overall, I would highly recommend dealing with Jordan Clarius @ Garnet VW. Jordan and his team work hard to make you feel comfortable with your decision.
