Terrible at diagnosing my vehicles issue When I brought my vehicle in with the issue of intermittent starting, I told the service dept that I thought it was an issue with the fuel pump relay When I brought my vehicle in with the issue of intermittent starting, I told the service dept that I thought it was an issue with the fuel pump relay due to the research i had done and the little bit of testing that I had been able to do. I asked them to check this issue first to check to see if there was the right amount of power going through from the relay to the fuel pump and if that was the issue to please put an external relay on the vehicle. After having the vehicle for 24 hrs the said they believed that it was a fuel pump issue and swore up and down they had tested the fuel pump relay. So I said to go ahead and replace the fuel pump, which was 1128 dollars. Needless to say I get my vehicle back and the very next morning I go to start it up, and wouldn't you know it, the same issue. So I went and bought a multi meter and tested what Gary Matthews had sworn to have tested. The reading I got on the multi meter was 8 volts and something, which should have been at least 12 volts DC. This only took me roughly 10 mins to do. Which all of this tells me that it was indeed not a fuel pump, but an issue electrically, which most commonly on the chrysler town and country would be a relay. Thank you Gary Matthew's for completely ignoring what I had asked you to do, just so you could charge me more money. I will never be doing business with this sorry dealership again. More

Then it should be changed or filled not up to the mechanic to determine if it is new looking or it’s full enough. My DEF should have been topped off as all fluids were but was not and I was told at $28.00 a gallon it was up to me IF it was topped off. I traded a BMW X5 diesel. If BMW told me the service at 30000 miles was x number of dollars plus taxes. You can bet that all fluids were topped of( including DEF) filters were changed and the car cleaned for the quoted service cost. Not service plus extra for materials and extra for the wash. I doubt that I will return fo the 40000 that is about $600.00 More
