We had an amazing experience with Andrew at Gary Smith Ford. He was able to work with our schedules to get us in as soon as possible to see the vehicle I wanted. They were able to give us a great trade in Ford. He was able to work with our schedules to get us in as soon as possible to see the vehicle I wanted. They were able to give us a great trade in value & get us within our budget for our new vehicle. Andrew made it the easiest car buying experience we've ever had! More
“Wow” is all I can say about this dealership. Every dealership my husband and I have ever been to has denied us, didn’t have the type of car we needed, wasted our time, etc., but Andrew Jackson o Every dealership my husband and I have ever been to has denied us, didn’t have the type of car we needed, wasted our time, etc., but Andrew Jackson of Gary Smith Ford made sure that we had the keys to our new ride and were satisfied with the terms. Very laid back staff, no one trying to hustle us; it was such a genuine transaction and I didn’t feel stressed out about buying the car, which is a common symptom of car-hunting lol. Also, John Dooley explained everything to us in a clear and concise way that didn’t feel rushed or pressured and that’s rare these days, especially during these times where there is a car shortage. Definitely check this dealership out. 10/10 would buy from them again. More
Consummate disgrace trying to cheat people. “An F-150 Lightning Forum user found a unit marked up by $69,000 at Gary Smith Ford in Fort Walton Beach, Florida” https://electrek.co/2022/06/ “An F-150 Lightning Forum user found a unit marked up by $69,000 at Gary Smith Ford in Fort Walton Beach, Florida” https://electrek.co/2022/06/07/ford-dealer-doubles-price-f-150-lightning-electric-pickup-truck/amp/ More

I even left it a whole day, and they wanted me to bring it back for another day, I don’t understand why if I have an appointment I have to leave my car the whole day? It has never been fixed snd lays down everytime I open the door. More
We had a very great experience buying our new vehicle this weekend, we didn’t feel pressured into buying and our salesmen Chip & Cameron were by far the best people we have worked with when buying car. T this weekend, we didn’t feel pressured into buying and our salesmen Chip & Cameron were by far the best people we have worked with when buying car. They were very knowledgeable with the car and treated us with kindness and respect - not just as dollar bills. Trading in our vehicle was painless and I would definitely recommend them and this Ford to anyone who is looking to purchase a reliable car and with the best pricing in the area. More
Between the sales team, the parts counter, and the service shop, I can honestly say that I've never dealt with a worse dealership. Each F-150 on the lot has a 10K markup, the Broncos have a 6K, and t service shop, I can honestly say that I've never dealt with a worse dealership. Each F-150 on the lot has a 10K markup, the Broncos have a 6K, and the Rangers have a 5K. Don't get me started on the GT500s. The parts department stated that there was a surcharge over MSRP with the addition of a freight shipping charge for a spar tire. The service department incorrectly (or flat out didn't) take down my concern about a burning clutch. Once my vehicle had been taken back, it took about 23 minutes for a single person to complete an oil change and the 10K mile inspection ( I stood outside the bay and watched). A manager overrode a second appointment for the transmission and stated that it was Ford's policy to NOT look into my transmission issue until something actually broke. Go to World Ford in Pensacola. They seem to actually care about the customer. More
I pre-ordered an Electric Ford F-150 Lightning on the night Ford Debuted it online. I was assigned Gary Smith as the local dealer to process the order. Now 8 months later as production nears Gary Smith night Ford Debuted it online. I was assigned Gary Smith as the local dealer to process the order. Now 8 months later as production nears Gary Smith is informing me they're going to add at least $15k markup on my preorder with Ford! WHAT?! They aren't doing anything but processing the order I made with Ford Corporate. The nerve of them, what opportunistic thieves. They told me everyone was doing it (guess that makes it right, hope they don't raise their kids that way), but I found a noble dealership in the next state that committed to selling it to for MSRP plus $500 documentation fee. TRANSFERRED MY RESERVATION LIKE.......LIGHTNING! That would have been my first time doing business with Gary Smith but I can guarantee that will never happen again in the future. More
I had a 2 PM appointment to service my vehicle which was scheduled several weeks in advance. I scheduled an oil change, a 10K inspection and stated that the vehicle had an intermittent burning clutch smell scheduled several weeks in advance. I scheduled an oil change, a 10K inspection and stated that the vehicle had an intermittent burning clutch smell which I wanted looked into. I arrived ten minutes before my appointment and the vehicle wasn't touched for over an hour. Out of the 27 minutes it was actually in the bay and when I wasn't watching the it for roughly 10 of those minutes, a full tire rotation, oil change and 10K mile inspection was apparently accomplished. The clutch was never looked into although a technician did ride with me to try and troubleshoot the problem. The manager stated that it was Ford's policy that unless there was a hard broke problem, that the dealership was not allowed to look into it. He then stated that's why I had a warranty. I asked what good was a warranty that wouldn't look at anything that wasn't hard broke, but I can only presume that preventative maintenance isn't truly accomplished at this dealership. If I didn't have to drive an hour one way to see another Ford dealership, I'd never go there again. More
