Bought here twice!!! Once NEW, once USED I would normally not take the time to write about a "GREAT" car buying experience, because that's almost an oxymoron....but here it is. I've purchase I would normally not take the time to write about a "GREAT" car buying experience, because that's almost an oxymoron....but here it is. I've purchased from Gary Smith twice within two years, first on a brand new Honda Civic, and now on a gently used Honda Accord. Both times, the salespeople have been attentive and both times I didnt have to deal with the standard, "let me see what the sales manager can do on price." I dealt with the sales manager on both occasions and we respectfully haggled on price until we both agreed on something that we each felt fair on. I've never walked out the door feeling pressured, nor have I felt taken advantage of. They are in business to make money and I understand that, but they also understand that the dealership isnt going to succeed or fail on a couple hundreds or even thousands of dollars in profit on one sale, but it will succeed or fail if people arent treated fairly, and they dont return. For that, I will absolutely return when it's time to buy again! More

Ignore military parents after 3 calls My son enlisted in the military out of high school and was so exited to buy his first car. 3 months after he bought it from Gary Smith Honda Fort Walt My son enlisted in the military out of high school and was so exited to buy his first car. 3 months after he bought it from Gary Smith Honda Fort Walton Beach,they called and told him he owed almost $300 and needed to pay it in 3 days. My son is so busy serving our country,not to mention not making hardly any money is now being harassed by Gary Smith Honda. I'm his father trying to help him bc he's so busy and broke called 3 times and was totally ignored, never got a call back from the GM Travis. They say they do military discounts, I say they take advantage of young brave men and women in our military. Gary Smith Honda is an ongoing horrible experience. ...Proud Military Patent More

You can't make this stuff up...unbelievable but true!! March 18, 2019 The lease on my Honda is ending in a couple of months. The car salesman invited me to come in on March 15, 2019 to look over my vehic March 18, 2019 The lease on my Honda is ending in a couple of months. The car salesman invited me to come in on March 15, 2019 to look over my vehicle and to discuss new car options and pricing. My car salesman and the new car sales manager assisted me. I parked my vehicle right in front of the building so they could have easy access to the car. First, the car salesman looked it over. He responded, "It looks like a new car" as the vehicle has less than 6,400 miles. Next the new car sales manager went outside to take a look at my vehicle. The new car sales manager made a quick return. He said, "I have some good news for you and some bad news". What do you want to hear first? I said, "The bad news." He said, "Someone just hit your car". In shock, I said, "You have got to be kidding me!" I immediately went out to see the damage. An 18 year old male had hit my car with his SUV. The salesmen were standing outside so there were several witnesses (I guess they considered this the good news). I said, "Oh no" in a voice that was too loud for the new car sales manager. He quickly responded and said, "I told you to calm down; I am calling the police". I had thought the police had already been called. He ordered me to, "Go inside your car"! I did not comply and I was completely shocked by his attitude (you would think that I was the one who hit somebody's car)! The police arrived and took the necessary information. I was in my car crying. Everyone saw me but not one person from the dealership came out to inquiry as to how I was!! This is a deplorable way to treat your customer. Needless to say, I will never lease or purchase a vehicle from them again!!! More

Traded our old pilot for a new one! Stopped in at the dealership on Monday to see if we could work a deal on trading our 16 Pilot for a new 19 model.
