Great price, good service. I always take my cars to Gates for full synthetic oil changes. The price is very competitive. The quality of work is always good. This time around, I waited about 55 minutes which is a bit long for an oil change. As I was waiting, I watched the technicians through the window and noticed a lot of dead time. I bet if they put their mind to it, they could easily improve processes and get the wait time down to 30-35 minutes. If they improve customer wait time, they could easily be the best place in town for an oil change! Everything else about this place is good. More

But I was sorely disappointed in the lack of attention to safety - not one employee was wearing a mask and physical distancing was not attempted by the service consultant. The waiting area did not have anything for disinfecting (i.e. clorox wipes) and everything looked "status quo". I was also surprised by the lack of signage/communication about health & safety protocols - was my car sanitized after the technician exited it? If not, that is fine - I just would have liked to have known. Things are different in our community as we navigate COVID - it sure didn't look like it at Gates of Granger. More
