Price was great and salesperson was good. The girl who did the walk around was pushy rude and unprofessional. She grabbed my phon out of my hand and started to download the onStar on my phone. She said it did the walk around was pushy rude and unprofessional. She grabbed my phon out of my hand and started to download the onStar on my phone. She said it was to give me points but she didn’t exactly pain what the points were for or why I needed that. She was terrible to deal with More
Would never buy from this dealership again. Sold us a car that had been heavily smoked in, never told us, and simply masked the toxic odor with a fragrance bomb that wore off in 48 hours. They agreed to “det that had been heavily smoked in, never told us, and simply masked the toxic odor with a fragrance bomb that wore off in 48 hours. They agreed to “detail it again” which more than likely was simply a vacuum and another odor bomb, which again wore off in 48 hours. Easy solution: disclose when a vehicle has been heavily smoked in, temporarily masked, and let the buyer decide. Additionally, I asked our salesman (Justin) what kind of warranty the dealership provided over and above whatever warranty is still left (OEM) on the vehicle. I can't remember the precise answer, but it was in the order of "three days and 150 miles." Now, it is MY fault for not making sure this was in writing when I reviewed all the paperwork when meeting with the Finance Director. However, that verbal bit of information is what gave me a bit of peace of mind when deciding to buy. Lesson for me: read the "As Is" statement more carefully before signing. Lesson for dealership: Don't casually mention a three day/150 mile warranty when that is only available for certified used vehicles (ours was not). The cigarette odor was high-level after their odor bomb wore off after 48 or 60 hours. The company I hired to help remove the odor said as much. So you KNOW that the dealership knew how bad it was when they took the vehicle in on trade. They are in the business of buying and selling cars. Unfortunately "odors" are not in the same category as mechanical issues in the legal world of car sales. I'm fairly certain they would not sell the vehicle if it had split control arm bushings by temporarily wrapping duct tape around the metal-to-metal contact points just to "get by for a few days." But that is what they did with the toxic third-hand carcinogens flowing out of the plastics, vinyls, upholsteries and leathers. EDIT, ONE MONTH LATER: We have since dumped about $300 dollars into cigarette odor removal using two different companies, and they both had to take two passes on different days because of the extent of embedded oily tar molecules in fabrics, plastics, vents, etc. I have invested many hours of personal time trying different products and after ALL this we still have a slight residue smell. My next step is to buy my own ozone generator on Amazon and I plan to run it for an hour or so every few days, and pray we can get rid of this smell once and for all. Should I have to go through all this, post purchase? Again, I should have asked more questions (mea culpa), but the dealership could have alleviated much or all of this by simply saying: "Right now the strong fragrance/chemical smell you are sensing is an odor bomb our detailing shop applied, but it will eventually wear off, and then you'll have the original smoke smell to deal with, and we know how difficult smoke smell is to remove. We just want to give you the whole story to help you make an informed decision." More
