It all began after a prolonged period of gloomy, wet, freezing weather in NC. We needed a break. Hoping for warm weather, we booked a flight to Orlando, FL. Coincidentally, my husband had been searching the web for a used truck. Since the weather wasn’t the greatest when we landed, though it was much better than the weather we left, we decided why not drive around and look at trucks. We visited several dealerships, found nothing that impressive, and encountered pushy sales people. We left Orlando for our accommodations in Cocoa Beach and continued our search. We visited Ford, Chevy and GMC dealers as Toyota, Nissan, trucks weren’t our favorites and the Ram Trucks hadn’t even entered our minds. We’ve always driven Ford and Honda. One thing we noticed while speaking with sales people and testing driving trucks is that the sales people were not knowledgeable about the products they were selling and they did not seem interested in them. It was an attitude like “this is a great new/used truck! Buy it!!” Well, does it have ----? Uh, I don’t’ know, but I can look it up… Not too encouraging when even used trucks sell for $30K and above. A couple days before we were due to go home, I texted a friend of ours for advice; “I’ve heard nothing but good things about the RAM 1500” was his response. We had never considered or driven a RAM. Then, while surfing the web, my husband made the serendipitous discovery of GATOR Automotive Group in Melbourne. GATOR’S internet pricing seemed too good to be true, but we decided to take a look anyway. That’s where we met Chris Browne our sales consultant. We used to dread car shopping; Chris Browne and GATOR Automotive changed all that. Chris was knowledgeable about the vehicles he showed us. He wasn’t just “knowledgeable” he was “nitty-gritty knowledgeable”. Not only did he know what he was talking about, he could demonstrate what he knew. For an example, he demonstrated the extremely short turning radius of the RAM 1500, how making a U-turn is a breeze and how that would benefit us when towing our camper. He was also very familiar with onboard electronics, the NAV technology, all the bells and whistles and discussed and demonstrated how the technology worked together to make driving the RAM 1500 Sport easy, fun, and safe. Did I say FUN?!! Oh Ya! We buy a new vehicle every 14 -16 years. We are not impulse buyers. Chris Browne and GATOR Automotive treated us like family. They were sincere. We made an excellent purchase and got absolutely the best deal available on the East Coast (of the US, not just FL). Incentive financing with Chrysler was fast easy and well worth it. We will happily refer friends and relatives with confidence. More

I purchased the first new car I have had in over 20 years. I am recently divorced and I dreaded the whole dealer experience but Ron was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I needed a larger car and had been thinking of a Town and Country for a while. Decided, from past experience, that buying from an established dealership was much better than a "used car lot" who could not o Country for a while. Les Brown was my sales associate. He met me "at the door", introduced himself, and got down to business of making me feel welcome to Gator. He was able to determine my wants and needs without being over bearing. This I really appreciated. After determining the price range I could afford, he showed me several cars and sold me a 2013 Town & Country. He presents himself very well and seems to know his product. Good experience and would recommend Gator to my friends. More
