My experience buying a new car at Gator I drove up to Gator to look for a particular vehicle I wanted, and was greeted by Don who pointed out the car we were looking for. "Pat Walsh was the best salesman we have ever dealt with" We were referred to Gator by my brother who bought a Ram last year from salesman Pat Welsh. We arrived and asked for Pat right away. We had researched a few trucks and gave him the print outs. He got the keys for our top choice and drove the truck around for us to check out. He was very informative about the different models for the Rams. We test drove two different Rams and then wanted to look at the Pacifica Vans. So we walked around to see the different models and again he explained all the different features for the different vans. Our big thing was price, we had price range were we wanted to stay withing. We ended up getting a used 2016 Ram 1500 Larime with 10,000 miles on it. Right away Pat brought out the Carfax to show us the vehicle had never been in an accident, showed it was a commercial owned for 6 months. Pat went over the differences between the used and new. He worked with the finance and got us the best interest rate. Overall the best experience ever in a dealership. We are a military family so we have been all over the US and bought everywhere. Pat was by far the most respectful and not pushy. I really get annoyed when a salesman tries to sell me the high end more expensive car and not help me get what I am looking for. Pat got us what we were looking for, payments in the range we wanted and just overall great attitude. I will be sending folks there to see Pat. Gator was the first dealership we visited however wanted to price check with others. After a painful 2 weeks of visiting other car dealers, we went back to Gator and drove away in our new Jeep. Allen Wade was honest (yes I said Honest and Car Dealer in same sentence), professional, respectful of our non-impulsive buying personalities, patient, and courteous. Must be his Mid-West up bringing that we connected with! Allen and John were transparent with us on trade and new Jeep purchase price, which we really appreciated. We are glad we bought local and will have all of our service work done there, you can't beat the 4 oil change price package anywhere! Gary went out of his way to get my wife into a used car, was not pushy, very affable and very helpful so I got the car of my dreams and am happy with the deal.Gary really worked hard to make the deal go smoothly and did everything you would expect of a service oriented employee. After the deal, Laura, in service, answered several questions and showed her competence by helping us understand concerns we had with the way the transmission worked as well as taking the time to help us learn about our "new" car although we have had Town and Country vans for nearly 20 years, there were things that were new to us with our purchase. Hats off to Gary and Laura for their professionalism and getting us rolling in our Town and Country!! More
