It's been nearly 97 years since Perry Lewis started as a salesman for the A.L. Maxwell Company, Ford Distributors in southern Indiana and Illinois. The Lewis family has been identified with the Ford Motor Company ever since. Perry was the first Ford dealer in Marshall, Illinois. In 1926, he moved to Crawfordsville, IN and founded the Perry Lewis Company. The company served Montgomery county for over 50 years. Gene Lewis was the youngest of Perry's three sons. Gene moved to Lebanon, IN. and opened Gene Lewis Ford in 1966. The company has been serving Boone county and the surrounding counties ever since. Currently, Gene's three sons, Jim, Steve, and David run the dealership in Lebanon where Gene Lewis Ford has built up the reputation of being "Boone County's Best Automobile Dealership". Several staff members at Gene Lewis Ford have been with the company for over or close to 20 years. With that knowledge, you know you're working with a competent and knowledgeable group of people who want to make sure your driving experience is the best it can possibly be. On behalf of our entire staff, we would like to welcome you and thank you for visiting our website. We offer superior sales and service for our valued customers. "Wouldn't recommend to anyone. "

- Lynn23

Went in to look at a truck from the website. Got there and the truck had two areas of damage on the bumper from backing into something, some damage on the back end above the bumper, a large dent on passenger side, the passenger handle had all paint scraped off, as well as discoloration of the doors on the inside and rust underneath and rust on the dents in the bumper. Salesperson, never even caught his name, admitted these were not pictured or mentioned on the website. We suggested 3k less and he laughed in our faces, saying to come back with a reasonable offer. I would rather drive out of town to any other dealer than set foot on this property again. Don't see why it's unreasonable to not want to pay over 20k for a truck with rust and dents.
