Maybe becaus out. Almost a month after getting my car I get harassed by the finance dept because now for whatever reason my paperwork is out of date. Maybe because they didn’t process in a timely manner I don’t know. But Addie was very rude she acted as if she was doing me a favor. I was getting harassed at work through my work email from her I kept telling her I emailed her what she asked for but every time she said she didn’t get it. I got phone call after phone call. She even threatened that the bank would come beget my car. Then I got calls from the bank saying that she didn’t submit some of the information and asked if I could send it to them directly since they couldn’t get it from her. It was a nightmare. I had to hang up on her twice because I work in healthcare and I was with patients. But she could not understand that either. Too bad she will be the reason I will never recommend this dealer to anyone. Dwayne is a big asset she is a nightmare More
In 2015 I leased my very first car with generation kia. It was a 2015 optima, I was 21 years old and was paying $330/mo for the car. I was happy with the car and was happy with the service I received. Fast forward 2 years and my lease is up so I finance a 2012 audi s4 through the dealership. All goes well, fast forward about 10 months later and I receive a message regarding my credit. I go to check it out and my credit dropped 90 points because of a delinquent payment. Now im very confused because I have never missed any sort of payment in my life especially not on the 2015 optima. I end up finding out Generation Kia shorted Kia Motor Finance $217 and were going after me for it. It took me 3 more months to get generation kia to even cut a check to the finance company and since 2017 I still have not had the remarks removed from my credit. Generation kia gave me the run around every single time, either sending me to the finance company saying I have to deal with them or telling me they will help and never getting back to me or coming up with excuses. The main person I was dealing with was the finance manager, Jamal Mageed. I have never had a worst customer experience in my life then when dealing with jamal. He could not have been more unprofessional with me during this experience and was constantly lying to me and changing his story. Fast forward to March 2020, I need a new car but I can’t get any cars at an affordable price because my credit is damaged from the mistake by generation kia. Jamal, knowing this because he’s been dealing with me for 3 years says there isn’t anything they can do for me and the 2020 kia optima I got is costing me $299/mo. That is $31 cheaper than when I was 21 with no credit. i have never missed a payment on any bill still and the only reason why my credit is bad is because of the issue with generation kia. Now, I am not writing this review because I made a mistake, and the dealership won’t help me so I’m now attacking them. No, this experience has made my life very difficult as you need credit for a lot of things and mine is damaged due to the carelessness of the dealership. In February 2021, I was finally able to speak to joe C and received a letter stating it was the dealership’s fault. I sent that into the finance company with all of the proof and paperwork needed to show this was 100% the dealer’s fault. Finance company came back and said there is not sufficient proof even with the letter. The dealership is telling me it is out of their hands and that they tried. They also said this happens often so if other people can fix it then I can figure out a way to fix it. I am appalled by how the dealership is handling this situation and I am not going to stop until they fix this issue. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership and I will do my best to make sure everyone knows what they have put me through. 100% the worst experience I have had with a company and I 100% do not recommend using them. I urge everyone who has had a similar experience, or a negative experience about this dealership to please step forward. This is unacceptable behavior from this dealership and if it has happened to others like they said, then you should share your story to. More
Bought used 2017 kia sorento. Driver side headlight was foggy from inside. Sales manager said light assembly is on order and promised in 2 week they will call and install the new light. When I didn't get t foggy from inside. Sales manager said light assembly is on order and promised in 2 week they will call and install the new light. When I didn't get the part in next 2 week, I called in and parts manager said they are not sure about ETA and can take months. Also called Kia consumer office, they escaladed to someone name Britney, never heard anything, This morning headlight fused and produced caution message on dash. I told them to avoid a traffic ticket, I can't drive in early morning for work and in night time. It is a safety issue. but kia customer service proved no concern. Years ago I remember reading in newspaper CEO Kia North America SeungKyu (Sean) Yoon made statement that one day Kia will win the auto market over Japanese brand Toyota & Honda. I think American consumers are more sold to customer care next to product quality. Sure winning market will be a dream until Kia will stop selling defective vehicle with false promise and on the top, no customer care and put drivers in unsafe situation. Hope fully NY DMV safety administration will help me with complaint against a DMV regulated automotive business. More

I hate to leave bad reviews but I feel obliged as this place has soured my mood. ::Update:: The dealer reached out to me after seeing this review. I spoke to one of the sales managers, Joe, who was apologetic and told me he would advocate to the General Manager on my behalf to get me the vehicle at the quoted price. Unfortunately, the GM was not willing to budge and still wanted to charge $2000 over MSRP. The only thing that the call with Joe accomplished was having me let down for a second time. I wish I could say that I can recommend this dealer, but I would avoid it if you are in the market for a Telluride. They are likely more willing to negotiate on less popular models, so I wouldn't discount them completely. :: My wife and I have been on the market for a new Kia Telluride and have been diligent with our searches. Most dealers appear to be charging over MSRP for the SX-Prestige model due to scarcity of demand. What most dealers don't understand is that not everyone is impulsive and is willing to drive a few hours to save thousand of dollars. Last night, after searching inventories, I found the exact SX-P model that we wanted. I called the dealer and spoke to a salesman that assured me, to my delight, that the dealer was not charging anything over sticker price. I gave him my debit card information over the phone to place a deposit on the vehicle. We had planned on financing a portion of the vehicle to take advantage of incentives, to which our salesman responded by asking for my email to send the financing paperwork. The e-mail never arrived. No big deal I thought, we can just spend a little extra time at the dealer. This morning, my wife and I ran to our banks to get certified checks to pick up the vehicle. While at the bank, I noticed that the deposit was never debited out my account. Strike two. I sent our salesman a text asking why the money was not taken out, to which he replies, "we don't take deposits on the Kia Telluride". This would have been good information to know prior to giving my banking information to a stranger over the phone. Forward to the showroom today; I arrive to see the car being whipped around the lot as I am met by our salesman. I hand him my license so we can begin the transaction, and hand him the two cashiers checks. our salesman returns with a piece of paper with a number over $53,000 written on it and proceeds to say, "this is the price of the vehicle before taxes and DMV fees." I must have sat there for a few seconds before reminding him that I was quoted STICKER price ($49,015) over the phone not even 24 hours prior. He looks at me with a smug look insisting, "no, I never said that." I understand that scarcity and demand affects pricing, but you have to be insane to think that paying $4000 over MSRP on a heavily deprecating asset is appropriate. I was livid. I demanded to talk to the manager, to which he responds, no, you are not talking to my manager. Excuse me? I walked around the showroom until I found the manager and explained the situation. The sales manager, Tyler, was very apologetic and excused the transaction due to our salesman being new and that he didn't know any better. I told Tyler I would not be paying a cent over MSRP. Unfortunately, his best solution was to "split the difference" and take half of the $4000 over MSRP down to $2000. Sadly, I had to walk. Kia has made great strides in the Brand by crafting a magnificent vehicle with the Telluride SX. Unfortunately, this buying experience has heavily soured my opinion of the brand. Take this review with a grain of salt. Many consumers are okay paying a premium for something that they really want, and that is okay. After all, I am sure that someone will purchase the vehicle at some point. More
