Sold me a car with issues, now Sales Manager won't respond. Writing this while I wait for the Sales Manager, Joseph Varrichio (aka Joe and Joe V.), to pick up the phone. I've been on hold for over 1 hour and 30 minutes at this point. I bought a pre-owned car from Generation Kia with the "help" of the Sales Manager, Joseph Varrichio, and just yesterday - two weeks to the day after buying my car - my ABS and Brake lights came on while I was out running errands. I immediately sent a text to Joe and to Evan Nicholas, the salesman who sold me the car. I received no response. Within minutes, my Check Engine light came on and the car started making this loud, scary dragging sound and then eventually, wouldn't drive at all. I was in the middle of a two lane road, but managed to safely pull over to the side. I sent another text to Joe and to Evan showing them the full dashboard. No response. I then called the dealership only to be told that I'd have to have the car towed to the dealership but they couldn't provide a service loaner so I'd have to rent a car and have them pick me up. Cell service where my house is isn't great and it was nearly 5pm on a Saturday so nothing was open. Despite the 30 degree weather, I got lucky and saw a taxi go by so I got the number, called and waited until a taxi could come get me and drive me home. I proceeded to try to reach Joe until the dealership closed at 7pm. The excuse was always that he was with other customers and couldn't come to the phone. He never returned my call. It's now 2:30pm the following day and I'm still trying to reach him. I haven't even been able to receive confirmation from Kia that my car was delivered by the tow truck. There are no rental car companies open near me and I'm far outside the 2-mile pick-up zone for any others. I'm literally stuck at my house, which is 2.5 hours from the city where I need to be in order to go to work in the morning. An uber ride home will cost me $300 but that's sadly what I may have to do. I'm lucky that I have the NY State Lemon Law on my side. Legally, Generation Kia has to fix the car. And if needed, I can afford to hire an attorney. But I realize that not everyone is so fortunate. I really hope that I can spare anyone else from this kind of trouble and inconvenience. So do yourself a favor and buy your car from somewhere else. More

I have ever right to go home and work the numbers over! The sales person told me this was the same as going to a restaurant and not paying at the end! How is that the same?!?!? More

Excellent I first met Albert in the beginning of September when he showed me the KIA NIRO. I loved it and was impressed but not ready to buy. Albert kept communication open just enough- not pushy. I let him know I was interested, but not at that time. When it was time, Albert and the staff made it smooth and easy. I just went in and bought it. But Albert in particular was very good in just giving the information, backing off and not being aggressive at all. The service department and amenities in the building are very nice as well. More
