Friendly Staff but Subpar Service I dealt with Grant, who was great and friendly and accommodating. My issues are with the length of waiting time I endured the two days I was there. On Monday, January 16, I had a lease agreement signed by 230pm. I was told that my new car needed to be washed and waxed (granted, it was very dirty when I test drove it) and would be ready shortly...fast forward 3.5 hours later, and I am still sitting there waiting for my car. That seems a little ridiculous for detailing a car. I have a lot of patience, but I live an hour away and spent my entire afternoon (6+ hrs) off from work for that day at the dealership. I was given a dealer plate and had to come back later in the week to give them my down payment and they would put my plates from my previous car on the Optima. No issues there. Arrived at 2pm on Saturday, January 21, and had signed papers with Jamal (who is so friendly) by 3pm. I spent another 3 hours waiting to sign the rest of the paperwork (the plates were still not on the car by 5pm) and left yet again around 615pm. I spent a total of nearly 10 hours just sitting in the waiting room. I noticed that there were plenty of other customers waiting as long as I was and equally as annoyed. The process simply should not have taken this long; I found it very unprofessional, especially since they had no problem with speediness when it came to the numbers and payment. Looking over the paperwork I see that I was not given the full internet discount on the price of the car (should have been $4740) I purchased. Overall I felt that I was taken advantage of and that the service could have been better. I am in love with my car but am going to ask for a refund or relief of some sort. The money I gave to them and my payment is not worth the time that I spent there. More

An outstanding car buying experience! My husband and I were interested in upgrading our 2012 Kia Optima with an AWD SUV. We did a lot of internet research and narrowed our choices to a few My husband and I were interested in upgrading our 2012 Kia Optima with an AWD SUV. We did a lot of internet research and narrowed our choices to a few vehicles at various local dealerships. After two of the dealers in the area got back to us regarding our inquiries, and disappointingly, none of the vehicles we selected were in stock, we sent an inquiry to Generation Kia regarding a 2016 Sorento. Within an hour we were contacted by Yvonne and set up an immediate appointment to come down and test drive the car. When we arrived at the dealership Yvonne introduced us to Mike, who worked with us throughout the transaction. We loved the car and the rest of the process was smooth as silk thanks to Mike Castain as our sales rep, and David in finance. Everyone at the dealership was great and made us feel as if we were family. I would definitely recommend Generation to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. More
