I received an email stating that my vehicle might have a recall. Along with the recall service, I requested an engine oil change. After several hours, the advisor contacted me and informed me that there wer recall. Along with the recall service, I requested an engine oil change. After several hours, the advisor contacted me and informed me that there were no active recalls. I was initially quoted $169 for the engine oil change and was also recommended for additional services. Finding the engine oil change cost higher than expected, I requested that no services, including the oil change, be performed. However, I was told that the oil change had already been completed and that I would need to pay for it. I showed the advisor the recall-related email I had received and asked why they were sending such misleading emails to customers. The advisor claimed not to know why or who sent that email. Additionally, I was quite upset by the advisor's attitude, pointing out the wordplay in the phrase "might have a recall." However, since the advisor was not the sender of the email, I let it go. Later, when I picked up my vehicle, I noticed that the invoice had the engine oil change cost zeroed out, so I did not pursue any further complaints. I hope this kind of customer deception stops. Although I don't want to give the advisor a 5-star rating, I hope he doesn't face any additional disadvantages, so I am giving him 5 stars. If there were another Genesis dealership near my residence, this issue would have been enough reason for me not to return. More

Just purchased a 2025 Genesis GV80 Coupe at another dealer out of state. Only had the vehicle about 3 weeks and was unable to use Genesis Connected Services from the beginning. After calling GCS a coup dealer out of state. Only had the vehicle about 3 weeks and was unable to use Genesis Connected Services from the beginning. After calling GCS a couple of times and trying to troubleshoot, I was told I had to take it in so the modem could be rebooted. I called around to a couple of dealers and couldn’t get an appointment within the week. Decided to show up on Thursday without an appointment. Met Jason in the parking lot and he could not have been nicer. He was extremely helpful and courteous. He gave the service center a call and they were able to take my car. My husband and I waited for the vehicle and we weren’t even there 2 hours! Once again truly appreciate Jason’s help! He made sure I was able to use the app and that the update worked, even offered to help us with any other features we may have questions on. I hope he stays for as long as I’m a Genesis owner because he truly went above & beyond to quickly help us. More
