Ms. Reed I sincerely apologize regarding the treatment you described. I can assure you that we do our best to treat each customer in a friendly and efficient manner. I have spoken with the managers that you mentioned and I understand that in this case a mistake and miscommunication occurred on our end. It appears the second manager that reviewed your deal was mistaken when he quoted you the down payment. Structuring the finances for a vehicle purchase can be complicated and occasionally mistakes are made. I do know that Blake Riley the finance manager at our Chrysler store did reach out to you to apologize and explain the mishap however was unable to reach you. With eight locations and over 350 employees there are times where we will not meet expectations, all we can do at this point acknowledge the error and try to make it right. Mr. Gengras, Thank you, for taking the time to respond and apologize to me for the way I was treated at your establishment. Please forgive me, as I don’t think you quite understood. Please understand, I am not pardoned by nor immune to human error, we all make mistakes. My issue was not in fact the erroneous information regarding my loan specifics, but more so, how it was handled. IT SIMPLY WASN'T. In efforts to respond, I'm not too certain how Blake Riley couldn't reach me. He's actually the rep who called me at 7:30 pm and only offered me a staggering half hour to make up my mind, on mistakes that clearly were made by your team. When I asked, why my sales rep hadn't called me back sooner to relay the (bad) news, Blake replied "I asked him not to" which was later confirmed. He then stated how he was finishing up for the day and gave me call. This was the first indication of a bad taste being left in my mouth. To add a little irony, the same day the error was poorly relayed to me, I was anxiously calling the location just about every hour on the hour, with the hopes of getting my car earlier than expected, per my salesman who had called me at work approximately 10 am. This purchase actually meant a great deal to me and so, I had given all of my contact information including emails and phone numbers to all involved. With that being said, I’m sorry, I find it hard to believe that I was unable to be reached, or that the effort was even put forth. On top of that, I was verbally slain the very next day by your employee Rich Lamb whom stated "This type of thing, in fact, doesn't happen at our establishment it just happened "To YOU", when asked what procedures were in place for this kind of thing. He responded there were no procedures in place, and when I begged to differ, be began Yelling, “Anyway, what did you expect with your credit score and inability to put money down, and trying to have rebates transferred?” across the showroom floor. Surely Mr. Gengras, this had nothing to do with your 8 locations and 350 employees. Amid the lack of basic customer service by some of your employees, this was the Main reason for my complaint. What was supposed to be, your best treatment to each customer in a friendly and efficient manner, turned out to be a verbal altercation amongst the showroom floor, with your general sales manger and me, the customer, on something you clearly admit to, as being a mistake on your part. I clearly understand that at this point there isn’t much you can or would be willing to do, but acknowledge “what errors” occurred and try to make them right. Hopefully with this reply, you truly understand the nature of my complaint. Not the mistake, but obviously how it was not handled. I am also sorry I was not afforded the chance to do business at your location. LaKiesha Reed
