My one complaint is that apparently company policy requires the sales and financial personnel to attempt to sell several extras services and protections, all done with no pressure, but the repetitiveness of the presentation was off-putting. I find that this kind of policy is infecting much of corporate America. Volvo would be better off with a Swedish approach. More

Flew to CT from OK to buy my wife the Volvo XC 60 R-Design in Red. The initial transaction went ok. We owned the car for a year and then the tag expired and needed renewed. We went to the tag office and was told that the Dealership has messed up the title work and our title basically did not exist for our car. This was AUG 2013. I called and spoke with the Office Manager JOCELYN PROTO and she assured me that it was their mistake and they would fix it. Well after being ignored, lied to, and never having a phone call returned I still do not have a title for my car. This is single handedly the worst experience I have ever had in the 15 new cars I have bought over the years. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. More

Two months ago, I made a visit to Gengras Volvo intending to take a look at the 2013 and 2014 models. It was my good fortune that sales associate Michael Malchevsky was free to show me around. Michael immediately impressed me as well-informed and courteous. Equally importantly, he is also a very good listener. Instead of immediately launching into a sales pitch, Michael took the time to ask me questions about what I was looking for, listened carefully to my answers, asked follow-up questions, and only then began to tell me about the vehicles on offer and how they might fit my needs. He answered all of my questions carefully; when he didn't know the answer, he made sure to find out and follow up with me later. Michael is highly intelligent and articulate, and explained everything about my new car (2014 Volvo S60) clearly and comprehensively. He was also very thorough and supportive throughout the fitting-out and purchase process. All in all, Michael proved himself to be capable, friendly, and highly professional in all of his interactions, and has continued to provide helpful follow-up information and support in the months since I bought the car.
