Not only a sonic with a Ridiculous payment because he knew I was stuck, and only gave me $2000 for my truck when kbb was $6000. The sonic he sold me had over 700 miles on it, but wrote less then 500 on the paperwork. He also told me he would get my cds out, he didn’t. The first 3 months I brought the car back on 6 different occasions for multiple things including the windows falling off the track on the passenger side, of you opened the front and rear passenger doors, then shut the back first, you couldn’t open the doors. If you turned the air on, it stunk so bad. The doors didn’t align and it was obvious it was damaged without disclosing it to me. The first 2 years, the sonic has gone in over 1O times for things just randomly breaking. I started going to a different dealership because every time I came in, I was made to feel I was being a problem and making small issues into large ones. The last visit, the manager tried to make it up to me by giving me less then what I owed on my car and putting me into a vehicle that was double the payment. I have to say over all, my 2 year experience with them has been xxxx. I was always talked down to and never given any answers. With the doors, the service manager claimed it was just how Sonics were built and tried to belittle me. I made him bring me keys to other Sonics and opened and shut doors, they opened without any issues. I showed him mine, the doors would not open. He took my keys and told me to talk to the advisor. Last he ever talked to me. It took 3 different week long trips in the dealer to get the doors completely rectified. This isn’t even the top of the iceberg, but some examples. Please do not support this company, you will regret it. More
Horrible mechanics and technicians brought my car in for repairs thru my insurance but the car AFTER FOUR ATTEMPTS is still NOT REPAIRED CORRECTLY. The whole purpose of using a dealers brought my car in for repairs thru my insurance but the car AFTER FOUR ATTEMPTS is still NOT REPAIRED CORRECTLY. The whole purpose of using a dealership is to have experts on that make and model, however the TECHNICIANS at this branch are BELOW SUB-PAR! After 6 grand I have a car that still has a squeaky scraping sound a panel that is clearly not aligned properly. The customer service is good they listen attempted to address my issues and cut my deductible in 1/2 for having to trek back to the dealership to attempt to get a car with repairs that was not done correctly. However in the end I still have a car with repairs not done correctly. I would not recommend Matick for repairs past a tire and oil change as those are the only maintenance items that I have never had an issue with....because this REPAIR fiasco is not my 1st rodeo with them ... In short GREAT customer service .... POOR mechanics and technicians! More

Service / Body Shop Experiences I have been going to Matick for a few years now and actually purchased my 2011 Chevy Equinox from them. Since I purchased my vehicle from them it seem I have been going to Matick for a few years now and actually purchased my 2011 Chevy Equinox from them. Since I purchased my vehicle from them it seemed logical to have it serviced there as well. My first oil change didn't go very well as the technician that worked on my car forgot to remove a seal from the new filter when he installed it which resulted in oil spraying all over the engine of my new vehicle. We only realized there was an issue when we smelled something burning and the engine started smoking. After a call to Matick they did clean the engine and reinstall the filter. I also had the service team at Matick replace the tires/rims on my Equinox after they were stolen. Part of that job was to install wheel locks to help prevent the tires/rims from being stolen again. After picking the Equinox up and getting back to my house I stopped to take a look at the new wheel locks and realized none of them (on all 4 tires) had been tightened at all. I was able to spin them off with my bare hands. Again I called Matick and they tightened them down after I made another trip back to the dealership the next day. My most recent interaction with Matick has not gone well and is still pending. I noticed a spot approximately 2 inches long on the rear hatch were the paint had peeled off and was beginning to rust. Not wanting the issue to get worse I called Matick and asked them if they could fix it. The repair was $250 which I thought was a little high but I wanted it fixed so I paid the $250 and they fixed the spot and it looked brand new. Two weeks later however the paint was gone in the exact same spot and the rust had returned. I called Matick and explained I had just had the work done and it was already rusted again and they informed me they don't guarantee any work that deals with rust (something that would have been helpful to know prior to spending the $250) but they would bring the vehicle back in and take a look at it. A few hours later I got a call from an employee at Matick informing me that the reason the paint was wearing off was because of my wife's wedding ring. I thought that was ridiculous but he said they would repaint the spot so I decided not to press the issue. I got the vehicle back and again the spot looked brand new but this time within a couple of days the paint had flaked off and the rust was back. Now frustrated I took the vehicle to another GM dealership to have them look at the problem area. Within a few minutes of looking at the spot he concluded that the technicians at Matick had not properly treated the rusted areas and simply painted over the rust and that was the reason the paint was flaking off so quickly. I called Matick to let them know that the spot had returned and that I needed it fixed properly this time and have been bounced around ever since. Anytime I get throug to someone they say they are going to pass my number on to a Manager and I never get a call back. Whenever I ask to speak with a Manager I am told that a Manager is not available but that one will call me back once they are available but I never get the call back. I need to get this issue corrected before the damage gets worse and since I can't get through to anyone over the phone I decided to try this forum to see if I can get any traction. More

I brought my Cadillac Deville in to have a misfire diagnosed on Friday 8/30/13. I was contacted the next day by Darlese and informed that the technician diagnosed my vehicle and that I would need new diagnosed on Friday 8/30/13. I was contacted the next day by Darlese and informed that the technician diagnosed my vehicle and that I would need new spark plugs. I agreed to let him install the plugs. I was told that my car would not be ready that day, which I expected. They were closed Monday because of the holiday. I called Tuesday afternoon, to get an update on my vehicle. I was told that since Darlese was not at work i would have to call back the next day. NOBODY was able to help me. Wednesday arrives and my vehicle still is not repaired. They give me a loaner vehicle and insure me that it will be completed that day. The following day I receive a call from Darlese stating that I would need a new engine. HUH??? How did my service repair go from replacing spark plugs to replacing the engine overnight? She told me that the technician said had low compression in one of my cylinders. I then informed her that the technician, had he done his job correctly should have noticed that before replacing the plugs. She agreed and decided not to charge me for the spark plugs, but I still needed a new engine. I asked further questions trying to figure out how the technician came to that conclusion based off a compression test. She said he did not do any further testing and was unable to give me anymore answers. I go to pick up my vehicle and when I start up my car the engine sounds horrible, mind you my car ran silent when I brought it in. My engine sounds bad and the car cuts off. I'm thinking "what did they do to my car?" They agree to fix the problem and get it in the condition it was in when I brought it to them. I receive a call later from Darlese, informing me that the technician had forgot to hook up my ignition coil. I don't know if they were trying to scare me into purchasing a new engine or that the technician working on my vehicle is just that incompetent. I hope no damage was done from his error. An 8 cylinder vehicle operating on half an engine is not good. i also hope everything else s connected properly. Now I have to take my car to another mechanic for inspection to make sure the technician did not ruin anything. I went to pick up my car today. It sounded normal. I asked further questions about the compression test the technician had performed and found out the technician only tested one cylinder. WHAT??? To do a PROPER compression test, all cylinders need to be tested for an accurate reading. It sounds like this technician needs to go back to school. They want me to spend thousands of dollars based off atest that was not performed correctly. I trusted these guys. I had even purchased my wife's car earlier from them earlier this year. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR THERE AGAIN. I advise you to do the same unless it's warranty work. More
My experience at this dealership has been horrible since the first day I purchased my car. (Which it was the worst day of my life.) My 2009 Malibu certified pre-own car within the first month I got it neede the first day I purchased my car. (Which it was the worst day of my life.) My 2009 Malibu certified pre-own car within the first month I got it needed to have a transmission rebuilt. Some of the locks on the car stopped working. To do those repairs it took them 3 to 4 different attempts to find out what the problem even was. They kept trying to make me feel like I was stupid until I started to test drive the car with them in the car. Then all of sudden it was "oh I see". They never did use to go pass the parking lot to test drive a car. It took them a total of a month and 3 different rental cars later before I was able to drive my "new car." The only thing I think they really fix on the car the first time was the doors. Now those don't even work anymore. The same exact door they so called repaired when I told them about it before. They didn't even have it logged correctly in the system to recognize I had it looked at already. It stated " the right rear driver door" If I can remember the driver side has always been on the left side. They tried to make me pay them to repair it when it was doing the exact same thing that they had repaired already. I don't trust the work they do to the car because you will end up replacing the same parts eventually in the future. The customer service is horrible. They never can give you a straight answer as to what is wrong. It take them forever to fix your car. A simple oil change takes them hours to do even with an appointment. They never want to take responsibility for screwing up your car. I won't recommend "ANYONE TO GET A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP." NOT UNLESS YOU TAKE A MECHANIC AND A LAWYER WITH YOU. More
