The easiest trip to a dealership that I've ever had, and when I left something in the car later he was easy to get in touch with to get my items. More

Prior to taking my vehicle in for service, I removed the plastic trim from the steering column myself. Underneath, I found that the ignition cover latch had been ground down which left sharp edges against the airbag wires. The only reason I brought my car back to this God-forsaken service department is because I had the ignition and steering column work performed here originally as recall work. I was hoping they would offer to fix (correctly) the metal bracket latch they butchered during the original work, and I explained this to the service manager when I dropped the vehicle off for service for an 8am appointment on a Thursday morning. I explained that I would like to have my car back by end of day. By FRIDAY at noon. I called to check the status, and was told that a technician had not even looked at my vehicle yet. A few hours later, I was quoted $1500 for labor and parts that did not need to be replaced. I declined the work and asked them to give me a quote on a trade in. At 5pm, I called to see if they had valued it, and was told no one had looked at it yet. Service manager Mike put me on the phone with someone in "sales" who asked me what kind of condition it was in. He then quoted me the generic Bluebook value and told me to subtract the cost of the repair. Obviously they were not interested in giving me an actual quote or even looking at my vehicle. Service manager Mike promised to call me back with the hour and let me know if I would pick up my car by end of day as they had been working on it for two days at this point. He did not. On Saturday morning, my vehicle was finally ready to be picked up. They did not fix the latch that I pointed out they messed up on the original job (this is like a $6 part from GM). Also, they charged me the $95 diagnostic fee. To add insult to injury, they didnt even reinstall the plastic trim on the steering column, expecting me to finish the job myself. This is the second time I have been here for service and the second time they've tried to tell me I needed needed to replace additional parts that were perfectly fine. This has been confirmed by reputable master mechanics. The service department at George Moore cannot be trusted. I have never seen such a disorganized garage in all my life. They are unprofessional (call you "boss" or "bud"), unresponsive, and oblivious as to the status of the vehicles they're servicing. They don't call you to let you know what's going on with your vehicle and just assume people can go days without a car. This is unacceptable when 1) you have an appointment and 2) the work being performed would take no less than an hour or two by technicians who actually knew what they were doing. Customer service skills do not exist here and you will not be treated like a priority or even a concern. Oh, and by the way, I was able to fix my airbag light myself with a $100 part. I also drove across town to Nimnicht Chevrolet and bought a 2019 Silverado yesterday that I was planning on buying from George Moore prior to my terrible experience with the service department. Nimnicht really knows how to treat their customers. If you're planning on visiting George Moore Chevrolet, please do yourself a favor, save yourself the headache and the unnecessary expenses and stay away. More
Misdiagnosed issue and mysterious upcharges They misdiagnosed the issue and then told the customer after $1400 of "work" that it would be an additional 2,000+ to fix the vehicle. This of course They misdiagnosed the issue and then told the customer after $1400 of "work" that it would be an additional 2,000+ to fix the vehicle. This of course spiraled into a sales guy showing up trying to sell the customer a vehicle in a rushed state. Of course they forgot to mention that the "out the door" pricing didn't really include the front door of the building as the service door still wanted $1400 to open up. Complete crooks that will get beat by the competition as indicated by all the competing reviews on this site. More

Around 1130 the service guy told me we were good to go, but have two nails in my tire. Ok, I will fix them later. Paid for service and was walked to car. This is when it gets worst. He walked me to the wrong car and did not know were may car was. So did I have two nails in my tires or did I get a oil change not sure. On top of that didn’t know where my car keys where. Around 1230-1pm service guy told me they found the car and keys, but had to compete the oil change. Around 1:30 I got my car and everything look like it was ok. Drove home and parked the car. Around 3 hours later moves the car forward and had a pool of oil. Not a good weekend. Service rep did tell me he was going to give me oil changes, but not sure if I should go back. More

Worst service experience I've ever had! Took in my 2011 Corvette Grand Sport for minor service. Needed an oil change and to fix the airbag warning light that kept coming on. When I made my Took in my 2011 Corvette Grand Sport for minor service. Needed an oil change and to fix the airbag warning light that kept coming on. When I made my appointment, I specifically asked for an appointment with their certified corvette technician. Dropped my car off for my appointment a week later on a Tues morning right when they opened at 7:30AM. Called Tues afternoon at 4PM and they were just pulling the car into the bay. By Wed afternoon at 4PM, the mechanic was still "pulling codes" and finally realized that the airbag harness is located under the driver's seat. At this point, I'm told that the certified corvette technician is on vacation and the mechanic is unfamiliar with the corvette. So I told them to stop the work, and I'd pick up the car and make an appointment with another dealer's certified corvette technician. When I picked up the car on Thurs, the driver's window wouldn't roll all the way up. There was a huge black mark on the window (like something fell on it), and greasy fingerprints where someone had clearly tried to pull the window back to the top so I wouldn't notice. I also found that my key fob had been smashed, and had a big puncture hole in it. Finally, there was motor oil all over my front passenger fender. The service manager acted "shocked" at the problems, and claimed he had no idea what could have happened. They agreed to fix the window, replace the key FOB, and detail the car. They called me Friday at 3:30PM saying the car was ready. When I picked up the car, I was told the service manager did the window repair (new window regulator) himself to "ensure it was done right." I found the window would not roll all the way down. He clearly didn't know how to properly index the window and regulator correctly, and hadn't bothered to check it. So I spent nearly 50 minutes while he and 2 other guys tried to fix it again. It is still not lined up properly, but I gave up on these guys and plan to take it to the other Chevy dealership in town to get their sloppy work corrected. More

I called my salesman Justin Comer on March 4 to discuss some issues with my Yukon, Justin instructed me to bring the Yukon in and have the service staff view the issues. I brought the Yukon in on March 7 2019 and the service staff member informed me that they would not repair any of the issues. I ask to speak to the Manager on Duty to discuss my situation - 15 minutes later - Sales Manager Tony Jones stopped by and said that the dealership would not repair any of the issues. (that most dealerships would view as a punch list). I ask Mr. Tony Jones to come to the parking lot to review the items - he refused... The items on the list were: 1) Door pull on drivers side all plastics insert securing the pull were cracked - Asked that the dealership repair... 2) Small leak on Passenger side - Ask for service department to review. 3) Small paint chip on drivers side door, at handle - Ask paint service department to review. 4). Small black line on drivers side rear panel - Ask paint service department to review. I find it amazing that 13 days after the sale the dealership fails to respond to minor punch list items that should been part of the dealer prep of the automobile before sale. I realize I purchase the Yukon right after the dealership traded for it, but the engine was filthy and the interior carpets had not been shampooed. I cancelled my service contract for oil changes, at this point I'm done with George Moore Chevrolet, Jacksonville Florida. More
