The best and most surprising car buying experience I've had. I am 28 and have owned 10 cars. Four of them I bought from dealers and this was by far my best experience. CarMax was nice but they tend to be expensive and it's pretty straight forward. I've gone through complete nightmares trying to buy cars and had to walk away from a car I really liked and was ready to buy, simply because the sales people and/or finance managers were insufferable swindlers. However with Richard Jeagar at Continental Honda (along with the finance manager, I think his name was Mike but I can't remember) was a total dream. Richard asked me about myself and my life and asked honestly what I thought I could afford monthly. I told him and he went to work. Over a couple initial visits we bonded a little and he went to bat for me and my family. Not only did he get me the car I wanted but also a lower price than I could have expected AND a lower interest rate. They got me half the APR anyone else was willing to give me. He was super cool and not at all like the typical slimy, high pressure car salesmen that come to mind when you imagine buying a car. He seemed completely transparent about the process and what he could do for me. He gave me realistic expectations then exceeded them. I loved dealing with a car enthusiast who wasn't also condescending because he knew a lot more than I did. (though I do have a pretty good knowledge of cars and how to work on them) Continental Honda is an hour and a half from my house WITHOUT traffic but when we go to buy a car for my wife we will be, gladly, taking that drive to Richard and Continental Honda. More
