Ended up purchasing a new accord. Jim ladonckus was the first car salesman I have ever encountered that was actually up front and honest (no bsing that you normally get from car salesmen). Just bought a Honda Civic in March, 2013 and love it! He was very patient as I test drove a few vehicles and was very informing on each and every vehicle. I created a trusting relationship with Brian and knew I was making the right decision. I didn't feel pressured at all, actually came back twice before purchasing the car I chose and was not rushed in the decision. I, to be honest, really don't enjoy car dealerships at all, and especially car salesmen, but I felt very little pressure and felt I could make my own decision with Brian. I even sold my used Ford to them and got money off my new one! Brian was confident but not pushy, informing, not overly suggestive--I really enjoyed purchasing this car at this dealership with Brian. After purchasing, the financial department did an outstanding job to quickly get me in and out as I had a tight time frame to work with. While I was working with them, service washed the new car and had it ready to by the time I finished signing! Very efficient and time sensitive which was very much appreciated! Continental Honda (La Grange IL.) has provided me with 2 vehicles a Honda Accord 2012 and a Honda CRV 2013. My experience was so wonderful that I even brought in a friend of mine who purchased a 2010 Honda vehicles a Honda Accord 2012 and a Honda CRV 2013. In particular Victor Ponce who lead our interactions with the other portions if the business. He was informative well versed in his product and willing to produce the most competitive pricing available. Victor was also very understanding of our financial situation and our family vehicular needs. Continental management provided excellent financing and warranty options. Simply put if your shopping for Honda and want to do well for yourself and family make sure to add Continental Honda on your short list at least give them a try and I am sure they will provide you with the same service they did for me. Especially look out for Victor he is a straight shooter down to earth type of guy that will take into account your personal situation. I visited several dealerships prior to visiting Continental Honda. A Toyota salesman recommended I visit Jacek (aka Jack) because of his kindness, patience and good reputation in the business. I am quite a picky person however he met all the requests and needs and kept every promise. Lets not forget his prompt follow-up. Buying a car is not on my list of favorite things to do however I was never hounded or pressured. I purchased a 2011 Certified used Honda Accord. Prior to buying the car I brought it to my mechanic because I needed to make sure the 150 point inspection was correct and the car fax was accurate. My mechanic told me it was a great car and it met every point Honda listed. I am glad I bought a Honda and based on the reputation of the car I probably wont be buying another one until 2020+ because every Honda owner I spoke to said the cars last forever.
