Needed two recalls/csps on my Ford Lightning. Contacted service department at Gerald Jones Ford. Part ordered and today Jessie came with the Mobile Service Van. Upon buying a used 2021 ford ranger from the dealership in late december we took the truck on a trip to Illinois at christmas. While going through Chatanooga and heading down hill the front end shook when in late december we took the truck on a trip to Illinois at christmas. While going through Chatanooga and heading down hill the front end shook when we applied the breaks a sign of warped rotors. Upon returning to Augusta we scheduled a service to have the breaks and the radio looked at. The rotors were diagnosed as being warped and the service manager accused me of riding the brakes too hard going down hill causing the warpage. This shKe happened immediately when i applied the brakes going down hill. Which I indicated to the service manager who then accused me of lying about it ant that I shouldnt have bought a used car.. I will never purchase another vehicle from gerald jones and would not reccomend anyone else buying onr there. More

Ford Recall has no available parts until Q-2 next year for drive train bolt issues. Tried to sell me 2-new tires vs. repair. (got repaired elsewhere) They did solve transmission leak & battery terminal problem 2-years ago after 2nd try & towed dead vehicle. Refused to remove after market cable. Vehicle was "Lemon" factory restored by Ford Mfr. (factory failed to remove non-factory device and failed to correct transmission line fittings leak) Apparently same random Q/C issues at plant as dealership. Will only bring for warranty repair whenever they actually get all the parts. Very sad, hit & miss. Also failed to capture correct emails for Ford Quality Review Survey. Valet pickup/delivery was very nice for customers. Somehow they managed to change all default settings in car. (some good, others not; must have pulled battery cable or had software update not mentioned?) More

Do not use their service department! I purchased a 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage edition on July 7th, on 31 July the check engine light came on. I was able to get an appointment with ser I purchased a 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage edition on July 7th, on 31 July the check engine light came on. I was able to get an appointment with service on August 2nd. I only got this appointment by going through my sales agent Ashleigh Dyson (who is the only person at that dealer who is worth anything). I was told that day that I would need a new engine and that it would take 2 weeks. When I called on August 15th I was told it would be ready in early september. At this point I still did not have a rental and was told that there were none available and that I was pretty far down on the waiting list. By the end of that week Ashleigh was able to secure me a loner. When I called for an update in early September I was told 2 more weeks. On August 18th I was told the engine was ordered and in early October I would have my car. Here we are and on Tuesday the 10th I called and was told once again that it might be a few weeks. I have spent $3764.25 on car payments and insurance in the 3 MONTHS that my car has been at the dealer - on a car that I cannot even drive. I drive past the dealer everyday on my way to and from work and it's sitting there, in the back of the lot. A beautiful blue Bronco just becoming a money pit. I will never again bring a car to Gerald Jones Service. More
FANTASTIC sales and service! As a transplant I have been bringing my F150 to Shannon in service for several years. I am retired from a Ford dealership after 29 years including as a sales manager up north and was considering a new Explorer and was going to either order or purchase my new vehicle there. Since I wanted to test drive one first I went in and explained to the General Sales Manager Jared Gay the what I wanted to do and that I was most likely NOT going to do business with him. He hooked me up with Jonathan Dyar. Jonathan went ABOVE and BEYOND knowing he probably was not going to get a sale. My wife liked the way we were treated and after I got what I could expect on a deal from up north we went back to see Jonathan and Jared. Without knowing what a was working from but figuring they would have to have a very sharp pencil, THEY BEAT WHAT I HAD! not only did they neat it but considering the expense to travel north they beat my deal up north. Having done both retail and commercial Finance, Aaron Newcomb in Finance had products and options laid out, listened to what I did and didn't want and answered all my questions when I asked for a comparison between the MasterTech Extended Warranty they offered me and Ford's Preferred Care Warranty. I went with the MasterTech warranty. Over the years my dealerships received 9 Chairman's or President's (including 5 in a row including 2 Elite Awards) so I know how important taking care of the customer is. Gerald Jones just received their second in a row President's Award and I would say they are on their way to a third award. EXTREMELY WELL DONE! More
