We went to many dealers looking for the right deal since we were limited on money. Almost giving up, we looked one last time on the internet and came across a very nice looking Edge at Gerald Jones Ford. I emailed them via autotrader and we got a call back within 5 minutes from Alex. After getting to the dealership, we were greeted with a great staff. NO HIGH PRESSURE! Very laid back and informative about the vehicle we wanted to purchase. We explained our financial situation and they were able to lower the price $1,000 which was still over our budget, but it helped a lot since we were not financing this vehicle. WE BOUGHT THE EDGE! While we were filling out the paperwork, they took the truck and washed it, even though it looked good to us. Thanks Eddie for helping us out and getting us into a very nice Ford Edge. More
Excellent Experience for first time car buyer I have been in the market to purchase a vehicle for the last 6 months. It was becoming discouraging and now I didn't go to a dealer with the intention of purchasing; I went just to look because I figured ahead of time that it wouldn't work out. Gerald Jones was my last minute choice as they posted a 2011 Accord. I was looking at it simply for the gas mileage as my job entails a lot of driving. It wasn't the "unicorn" CR-V I'd been hunting for. From the get-go I worked with Jay Williams. He was friendly and polite and just very genuine. I am deaf so my B.S. meeter is extra sensitive to body language and facial expression. Jay was one of the sincerest and kindest salesmen I've ever worked with. Fresh out of school and starting out on my tiny income, he worked with me and was upfront, direct, and yet patient as a wavered back and forth on a car that wasn't really what I was looking for. Ultimately, I bought it later that day and have been pleased with it over the week I've owned it. *But my favorite thing about working with them was their consideration for my hearing loss. Jay was intentional to look directly at me when he spoke, he didn't bother me with phone calls, and after my purchase he sent me a video saying "thank you" and how to reach him if I need anything. I don't know if it was intentional as I rely on lip reading, but I was impressed. Thanks to everyone for putting up with me on Saturday! I'll be referring people to you guys. More

Lack of Communication, Incompetent, Uncaring After an oil change at a non Ford dealership I went to Ford twice where they signed off my oil and all fluids, tires brakes etc were is perfect condit After an oil change at a non Ford dealership I went to Ford twice where they signed off my oil and all fluids, tires brakes etc were is perfect condition before a long trip with me and my 2 and a half yr old son. 10 days later half way back, my check engine light came on and the engine started making noise. Towed to the nearest dealership, Gerald Jones Ford. The dealership refused my engine warrenty based on their person opinion without diagnosing the vehicle (that took 3 weeks), then I was told repairs would be 6500-9000. When I finally ordered my engine and had it delievered it sat for over a week before any work was begun. In the meantime noone communicated and the service manager Jose broke my engine down and sent it to Ford to be looked at to see if it is covered by warrenty (nevermind I just paid 1800 for a new engine). Now almost two weeks later I am called with a quote for additional repairs including a water pump, spark plugs, basically everything but the kitchen sink. So, after I had a quote finalized for engine installation of 2400 which I had to take a loan out for, they want over 600 in parts and over 700 in labor out of the sky....ridiculous. I live 4hrs away from the dealership, I am a single Mom of 2, and to get information is like pulling teeth, and then they expect another 1300+ ( which I dont have) when the parts were good on my old engine, but they sent it to Ford without speaking to me after telling me they were not sending it to Ford at all since they didn't think my warrenty would cover the engine. My vehicle is a 2013 Ford Fusion with routine maintenance always kept up. More
