Following an engine repair, they broke the engine splash shield and didn’t even reattach it on one corner. Despite being asked three times to make another warranty repair, they did not. Justin Bailey did a great job with helping me with my new car. He was very easy to work with let me drive a couple different SUV until I found the right one for me. TLDR: I am considering trading in my used car purchase to another dealer and getting a different vehicle, especially if that means I never have to work with this dealership again. As someone who made a mu another dealer and getting a different vehicle, especially if that means I never have to work with this dealership again. As someone who made a multi thousand dollar purchase I would expect a certain level of customer service. I received the most low effort service when buying my used vehicle from Germain Kia. Then when the transmission error light came on less than two weeks into me owning the vehicle, I called to get the vehicle in for diagnostics and service and despite having purchased the extended warranty and service plan from this dealership, I was told I should instead be calling Honda. Finally things were resolved and I was told that person was wrong and I could bring my car back into the dealer and they would check it over. It turned out to need a whole new transmission. Thankfully this was covered under the 90 day dealer warranty. Unfortunately, I was now a mom of 3 now without a vehicle large enough to transport her children. (I was given a loaner but it was a bit pointless as I couldn’t use it to transport all of my kids and this caused all sorts of issues). Even more unfortunate was this went on for three weeks. I received next to no updates except when I called or emailed asking for them. I called on a number of occasions and was told someone would call me back and I would not receive a phone call back. The emails I received were incredibly unprofessional. When my vehicle was finally ready all I received was an email that said “your vehicle is ready for pickup”. No greeting, punctuation, nothing. I did not receive any sort of phone call. If I would not have seen this email I would not have known the vehicle was ready. And when I picked it up the service department attempted to pass the blame off to Honda who had to program the transmission (considering this only took a day or two out of the three weeks this absolutely was not their fault). Shane help me to get my Kia Sorento when I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get he try his best so I was able to get it! Service writer was very friendly, courteous and efficient. He told me exactly what was going to be done and how much it would cost. The on line system kept me informed of the status.
