I brought my 2024 VW Atlas to Germain Volkswagen of Westerville on March 9th and didn’t get it back until April 3rd. The experience was a masterclass in how NOT to run a service department. Every update I received over the course of nearly a month only happened because I called them. No Support: My car sat there for weeks while they waited for parts and "specialists," yet they never once offered a loaner vehicle or any way to mitigate the massive inconvenience. Zero Quality Control: This is the most unbelievable part. When I finally picked up the car and got it home, I realized the entire glove box was MISSING. They literally handed me the keys to a new car with a hole in the dashboard and didn’t notice. I had to drive back just to have them put the interior of my car back together. It is clear they do not perform final inspections or value their customers' time. If you value your vehicle and your sanity, take it somewhere else. The service department manager, Jared, was sympathetic and apologetic after all of this. It is a shame it took so long to make contact with him and that the issues were not raised to his attention sooner. I appreciated the conversation I had with him at the very end. More

I'm an older woman on the quest for a good used car after mine died.
