Alternator and a battery install for $1040. Price is way high. Labor rate is almost $200 an hr including tax. $350 for an alternator with 2yr warranty. I can buy a new Delco with life time warr Price is way high. Labor rate is almost $200 an hr including tax. $350 for an alternator with 2yr warranty. Dropped my truck off for an emissions system issue. They returned it with a broken AC, an estimate to fix the AC that magically broke, and a promise to fix it as soon as the part showed up.
