I am reading my experience with the Collision department starting on December 26, 2022. Six weeks later I got my car back. A job was completed in a quality fashion. The waiting period of six weeks was ridic starting on December 26, 2022. Six weeks later I got my car back. A job was completed in a quality fashion. The waiting period of six weeks was ridiculous. During that time I could have been driving my car but no no no I had to leave it there so it stayed in line. Instead I had to rent a car. Unbelievably stupid I asked a worker if they had paper and pencil and he said yes well put me on your paper and pencil list and give me my car back. No no no then I would go to the end of the list. You told me to bring the car in on December 26, 2022 they did not do a single thing to my car for over one month. Meanwhile I am renting a car. Make a list, put me on the list, and call me when you need my car. Spending $900 to rent a car makes no sense especially since my car was perfectly drivable. I think it will be a cold day in xxxx before I ever going to Carol again either to purchase, lease, or have work done on my car. I have done all three, bought a car, lease a car, and have Collision service done. In the end I got the car I wanted. And the car was fixed appropriately. But the process was terrible probably the worst part of the entire experience was sitting with the finance guy while he showed me a computer screen on his desk top. When I left I had nothing to show for it except a code to go online and get my paperwork. Not acceptable. I should’ve said at the end I’m going nowhere till I get my paperwork. just one more thing. I dealt with Eric Diaz in the Collision department. He tried to be helpful but it seems that his hands were tied with a procedure set up by somebody above him. In the end, he did everything he could to satisfy me as a customer. I am thankful I had him in my corner. He went out of his way in the end to satisfy a customer, me, who was not very happy. Communication was extremely poor. I understand the back up with damaged vehicles after hurricane Ian. That said— proper expectations were not provided. My vehicle took over 4 months to finish while I paid for rental vehicle. I could not get anyone on the phone , or return a vm. I had to drive to facility to get updated. The vehicle sat on the lot for close to two months before they even began any work. More
