My husband and I went to Gettel Toyota in Bradenton to see a 2012 Prius aplug-in. After test-driving it, we agreed to buy it if a concerning noise in the braking system were fixed. We negotiated back and see a 2012 Prius aplug-in. After test-driving it, we agreed to buy it if a concerning noise in the braking system were fixed. We negotiated back and forth, with our condition being added each time to the negotiation paperwork. Finally a price was agreed on, but we didn't notice that our condition did not appear on the final paperwork. We got the car, and then researched only to find that Toyota had a program which had expired to fix this internal brake priblem. We made an appointment to have the brakes looked at. Although the service department said we would have to pay for the repair, in the end our insistence plus our photos of the negotiation paperwork held. We appreciate especially the efforts of Steven Oberle and Nuri. More

Negotiations took 3 hours, with us adding our condition to each signed offer. However, when the final paperwork came, we didn't notice that our condition wasn't on it. After buying the car we researched and found that Toyota had a program to fix the brake problem which had recently expired. We made an appointment with the service department to look at the brakes, and spent 4 hours waiting, being told they would not cover the cost. During that time we showed our photos of the negotiation paperwork and our copy of the Toyota Customer Support program to various people. We were sent home without a resolution. The next morning we got a call saying the repair would be covered! So we can report that we are now happy customers! Thanks especially to Steven, Nuri and Jared among others. More
