I tried to buy a car today for my daughter who is graduating from high school. Her mom & I are in the process of selling our house & purchasing a new one. The closings for both are one week from toda graduating from high school. Her mom & I are in the process of selling our house & purchasing a new one. The closings for both are one week from today. We cannot do anything to jeopardize that process. We wanted to surprise her because she a great student & hard worker that never complains. She is currently driving an older car that has been handed down twice before her. It has no A/C, no radio, the inside driver's side door handle broke off in her hand when she tried to get out the other day, and it's leaking oil. (She doesn't COMPLAIN!!) However, BECAUSE I couldn’t buy the vehicle today or start the process today, they refused to hold it for me. JUST ONE WEEK!!!!! All these people care about is money!! 💴 💰 More

There a few times . Called ahead for Dave Salesman , to let him know I’m on my way to close a deal . lady said he was there but passed me to a ladies voicemail. So I got there and didn’t see one customer but many salespeople standing and talking. Asked for Dave again. They all said he was there . Walked all around dealership and didn’t find him. So I left. For this game I’ll buy elsewhere . Also being passed around and receiving tons emails from different people is a huge turnoff for me . More

Deceptive sales tactics After multiple phone calls, me and the salesperson have agreed on the final APR on the truck I wanted to purchase. I told the salesperson few times t After multiple phone calls, me and the salesperson have agreed on the final APR on the truck I wanted to purchase. I told the salesperson few times that I will be flying in from Savannah to make the purchase and I don't want any surprises or numbers changed when I arrive due to being over 7 hours away from home and no planned way to come back if the deal falls through. I was assured that the APR and out the door price were final as well as my loan being approved. When I arrived, the truck and everything checked out until I came it came to signing paperwork at the finance office. My loan was still not secured despite being told before that I was already approved. I was told that the only way I will get the APR we agreed to over the phone was if I purchase the $1120 7 year 100,000 miles warranty. I brought that to their attention and was that was the only way to secure the agreed upon APR. I agreed to buy the warranty despite not being financially comfortable to do so due to being 7 hours away from home and no return ticket booked I was already at a loss if the deal did not work out. The employees were very nice. I was even picked up from the airport to the dealership but the deception in sales price has left a bad aftertaste. I recommended my dad purchase his car from Gettel but after my incident I will definitely not recommend this dealership to any of my friends or family. More
