Repairs from an examination of my vehicle I had my car evaluated for readiness of an extended trip. The dealership provided a list and I had repairs based on the list. I made two appointments and both were handled I thought professional and convenient to my schedule. I understand the overhead of a dealer is quite high but I believe the “flat rate” prices quoted were also quite high. My advisor Max did offer some discounts and I moved forward to some of the suggested repairs. I understand all too well the cost of brick and mortar facilities, but it they want real customer loyalty after the warranty period they must stop using the service dept. as a profit center. There are many certified repair facilities that can repair vehicles at half the rate the dealer is charging. More
