I was misled as to my ToyotaCare this year. I have bought 3 vehicles there and was always able to get an oil change at about 1 year. I made an appointment for my first oil change for my 22 Prius which I have had for 11 months. Milage 4041 miles. This has been typical for my last 2 Prius. I arrived at 12:15 for my 12:30 appointment and after checking in waited about 10 minutes for Eric. Eric told me I could not have an oil change, only a tire rotation and 5000 mile service. He said I could only get the oil change at 10000 miles. I explained that I put very few miles on the car and that the car will be over 2 years old by the time it can have an oil change. He assured me that would be fine. After waiting 2 hours for the tire rotation I told him I was glad I didn't have an oil change. He checked me out at 2:15. I did some research after I got home and learned that the oil should be changed more frequently in cars that are not driven a lot.
