I was misled as to my ToyotaCare this year. I have bought 3 vehicles there and was always able to get an oil change at about 1 year. I made an appointment for my first oil change for my 22 Prius which I have had for 11 months. Milage 4041 miles. This has been typical for my last 2 Prius. I arrived at 12:15 for my 12:30 appointment and after checking in waited about 10 minutes for Eric. Eric told me I could not have an oil change, only a tire rotation and 5000 mile service. He said I could only get the oil change at 10000 miles. I explained that I put very few miles on the car and that the car will be over 2 years old by the time it can have an oil change. He assured me that would be fine. After waiting 2 hours for the tire rotation I told him I was glad I didn't have an oil change. He checked me out at 2:15. I did some research after I got home and learned that the oil should be changed more frequently in cars that are not driven a lot. In the past I was able to do this but now the Toyota Care deal seems to have changed without notice to me. Also, wait time for rotation was way too long. Not satisfied at all with this visit More
