Delain Boorman was fantastic throughout the entire process—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. I absolutely love my new car! More

Update to my previous review: I originally left a very positive review because the buying experience itself was good, and the salesman was great. Unfortunately, I later discovered a serious issue: the veh positive review because the buying experience itself was good, and the salesman was great. Unfortunately, I later discovered a serious issue: the vehicle only came with one key fob (no big deal), but the physical emergency key inside that fob had never been cut. It was still a blank key. The electronic fob works, but the mechanical key would not unlock the vehicle if the 12V battery died, the fob failed, or I otherwise needed emergency access. I only discovered this when I bought additional fobs and tried to program them, which requires using the physical key in the door lock. When I contacted the dealership, I expected them to help make it right since I believe the car should have been delivered with a working physical key. Instead, I was told they would not do anything for me. Parts said it would cost $50 just to get the key code, and another dealer near me wants $20 to actually cut one key. So now I’m looking at extra cost and hassle just to get a basic working key for a vehicle I already purchased from them. That changes my opinion of the dealership after the sale. The sales experience was good, but the lack of support afterward over something this basic is very disappointing. I will no longer be referring them, and certainly don't want to give them my business going forward. Previous Review: This was easily the best and most pleasant experience I've had with a car dealer. The entire staff was great--friendly and professional, low pressure, no gimmicks or tricks. I would hands-down refer anyone I know to Gilchrest (and already have). I've dealt with dealerships from Kirkland to Portland and everywhere in between. Do yourself a favor and check them out--there's a reason they've been around for almost 100 years! Oh, and they saved me money on financing. I came in with a pre-approval from my credit union (with a good rate) and they found another lender at a quarter point lower. More
