I am sorry that you have had such a negative experience at Gillman. Our goal is to always provide superior custoemr service. I know that you have communicated multiple times with Mr. York and he has tried to assist you in getting the car fixed and has worked with Mitsubishi directly on the issue. Can you please tell me what you would like us to do to resolve any remaining issues? I can be reached at jkusin@gillmanauto.com

At Gillman Mitsubishi we are committed to providing the highest level of quality customer service, but based on this DealerRater.com review, the customer did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us. Through multiple methods of communication, Gillman Mitsubishi has tried to work with the customer to satisfy any outstanding issues. Unfortunately, there are times where no matter how hard we try some customers will not agree with the outcome. Patrick York, COO Gillman Companies

By the time Mr York got involved it was 7 months later, numerous lies later by Chris Mccoy, and your company had my car last for 7 days and replaced weather stripping improperly. I had to take my car to another dealership and they had to fix the problems correctly. The only thing Mr York did was apologize. Not sure where you get this "worked with Mitsubishi directly?" Mr York did state in the BBB response that "Per Mr. Calk's request, we have contacted Mitsubishi and he is free to take his vehicle to any authorized Mitsubishi Service Department" As I explained in my BBB response, its good for Mr York to think that he handled that for me. But the truth is I had already contacted Mitsubishi and they agreed to let me take my car somewhere else as they are seeing the in-competence of your service department. Your company was in contact with Mitsubishi for the repair on my car because your in-competent techs could not figure out how to fix the issue the car was having and they had to contact Mitsubishi techs to get the answer. So perhaps you are referring to this??? What I ask of your dealership is the same thing I have been asking in my BBB complaint. Since in Mr Yorks own words, "Per Mr. Calk's request, we have contacted Mitsubishi and he is free to take his vehicle to any authorized Mitsubishi Service Department," then I feel like I should be free to purchase my Outlander Sport from that other authorized Mitsubishi dealership. As I have stated in my BBB response (which your company has chosen to ignore the last month): If my complaints of the service department is not related to buying back my newly-purchased vehicle, then Gillman should refrain from using the service department and warranty as a selling point. If Gillman had stated to me that: their service manager and general manager were untruthful about the facts, that the service department was in-competent, that if service is ever needed on one of their vehicles it would take 8 months, that after this 8 months the items still would be installed improperly, that if I complained about the issue their owners wouldn't even bother to acknowledge me Do you really think I would have purchased a vehicle at your dealership????? This is why I have asked Patrick York, David Kemp, and a supposed email address of Stacey Wimbish to take my newly purchased vehicle back. Any dealership that doesn't believe their service department has something to do with sales of new vehicles is just destined to fail with that kind of mentality. I'm not even in the car business and I understand that the lack of service, in-competence, and improper represenation of facts of any department at a dealership will indeed effect your new cars sales. When your trying to sale a car why don't you tell them what kind of service to expect from the service department. Tell them everything I have had to go through. Inform them of all the other complaints you have received about the service department that have been kep in-house, and lets see if they decide to purchase one of your vehicles. I ask that you take my vehicle back with no penalty to me because your dealership has misrepresented your service department in regards to my purchase. I do not know why you employ a lieing service manager or why you employee techs who cant even change out some weather stripping. You can continue to have problems like this in the future or do something about these people you employ. It doesnt matter to me as I will never have to deal with them again. And I'm assuming by Mr Yorks BBB response, you dont seem to care because you dont understand how bad service would affect your sales. And since thats the cause, don't worry about my reviews that I post about my experience at your dealership as it has nothing to do with new car sales apparently. Again, the only thing I want from your dealership is to take your vehicle back. You lie about your service department. You told me when I bought my car from you that I dont need to worry about service. That if there is ever any problems I can just bring the car in and have it taken care of. How your service department is great and know what they are doing. If anything ever happens to a car of mine again and I bring it to your service department, I can see what I have to expect. Basically you misrepresented your service department during my new vehicle purchase. If you had been honest about the way your service department is ran, I would have never bought a vehicle from you and I doubt anyone else would. I have an email from one of your employees stating how they have had issues with your service department and they work there. How sad is that. Your company not only can't take care of their customers, they cant even take care of their own. In summary I want to get all of this past me just as you do. Lets stop the reviews and put an end to the BBB complaint (which your company hasnt responded to). Take my new vehicle purchase back and refund me ALL my money so I can purchase the exact same vehicle at that other authorized Mitsubishi dealership that Mr York was so happy to let me take my vehicle to.

Do not believe Patrick York. He is a prime example that this companies BS and lies start at the top. He did absolutely nothing to "satisfy" the customer besides say he is sorry. Sorry does not help me get back the time and money I lost dealing with their BS company for the last 7 months. On top of this, I buy a brand new car from them. And what do I get in return? A message forwarded to me from the BBB from Patrick York stating that I can take my car to a different dealership. Well if that's the case, then I can buy my new car from a different dealership and you can take your car back then huh? This company also pays off someone at the BBB. If you wonder why Gillman has a high BBB rating its because experiences like mine do not go through the BBB and become public for others to see. BBB stated that Gillman made a good faith effort. I responded to BBB asking what they find this good faith effort to be. They did not respond. All I can say is you have been warned. Buy from this company if you want. But understand they will do whatever and say whatever to get your money. After that, they dont give a sh!t about you. And this all starts at the top. Stay away if you can. There are other Mitsubishi dealerships if you are set on Mitsubishi. After buying my 3rd new mitsu and going through all this BS with a car with less than 30k miles, I will never own a mitsubishi ever again. Its a wonder why their sales have continually dropped year after year.
