WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POOR SERVICE QUALITY I bought my car in Glassman Hyundai and I never really got a positive friendly attitude from any associate except for few in service. The salesman nev I bought my car in Glassman Hyundai and I never really got a positive friendly attitude from any associate except for few in service. The salesman never really cared and didn't even allow me to negotiate over a discounted listed price. I should have walked out then and there but, I found the price reasonable and I really needed a car. I ignored the salesman and went ahead with the purchase. It's been 3 years and all my car services are done at Glassman Hyundai. Today I am dejected with the kind of response and service these people offered. I complained about my car front door speaker rattling from the very first service and they ignored it saying they couldn't reproduce the issue. I complained about in on every service appointment and they only took note on record only during my 15000 mile service schedule. I kept hearing the rattling noise all the time at certain low frequency. I repeatedly complained about the issue and got the same response as they hear it in idle condition at low volume. I later tested the speakers using the frequency spectum and showed them exactly on what range of frequency I hear that noise. They finally acknowledged that there is an issue with the right front door speaker but asked me to speak to a District Parts and Service manager to find a replacement of the speaker. This manager is not on site and I will have to come back when he is at the dealership. I waited for more than 2 months and never got a call back. My car mileage is now at 60000 and due for another service. I happen to visit another dealership in Illinois and I asked the salesman about this front door issue during a discussion. He offered to take a look at it as the service department is already closed. He understood the issue immediately and told me that the speaker is absolutely good but the door frame is resonating at that frequency making the noise. He said removing the door grill and insulating would fix the issue. I am really surprised how the service specialists at Glassman couldn't even diagnose such simple problem given their expertise. I personally think they didn't really care to fix it. Today I visited the dealership asking for an invoice copy of the car purchase and a Manufacturer Statement of Origin copy which they couldn't provide and asked me to directly reach out to the Manufacturer to get any vehicle related documents. Even for a duplicate copy of the invoice, they asked to make another request to pull these documents from some safe locker in a warehouse. This is atrocious as I needed these documents for taking my car to Canada. I asked at least for the recall clearance letter for the vehicle which I am sure any dealer should provide. It is listed officially on CBP website to get these letters from the dealership. The sales associate directed me to contact service department to get the recall clearance. But the person I spoke to, whom I believe is the supervisor in the service department, said she couldn't provide any proof of that sort as the recalls change by minute and they don't want to be liable for any letters. She again asked to reach out to the manufacturer for the letter and provided a contact number. Feeling disappointed with the response, I made a final inquiry about the front door speaker and told about the door frame resonating and making that noise. She couldn't even pull my service records using my phone number and asked to provide my car VIN number. Who will have their VIN number handy? I checked my car insurance copy online and provided the VIN number. I really didn't like the attitude of the associate and her one liner questions and her passive aggressive behavior. She asked to pay $137 to fix the car door insulation and fix the speaker. She says the vehicle is out of 1 year/12000 mile warranty for vehicle adjustments even though I complained about it during my 5000 and 10000 mile service. She points the note taken at 15000 mile service as the proof of expired warranty. I would have gladly paid that $137 if she is really helpless in this situation but, I really didn't like the tone and manners of the associate. She is not trying to solve the problem or convince the customer about the issue, but just waived a sheet of warranty card and showed some improper service notes on her computer screen to hush me away. She even went to a distance of asking me to get this issue fixed by some other specialist elsewhere and didn't take any responsibility for the misdiagnosis. This is going to be my last consultation with this dealership and I would never make another purchase or recommend a vehicle at Glasssman. More
Terrible Service Deptartment While I have purchased a new vehicle there and had work done at the body shop, which is excellent. I would not recommend their service department. Will lie to make a sale Terrible dealership. I purchased a car from Glassman Kia and was told by the manager I would receive my first oil change free. When I went in to recei Terrible dealership. I purchased a car from Glassman Kia and was told by the manager I would receive my first oil change free. When I went in to receive this oil change I was told that isn't something they do and then the employee tried to convince me to pay $119. She then told me that I must have confused this with another dealership. I will never go to Glassman Kia for a new vehicle or for service on my current vehicle because I refuse to give my business to rude liars. More

Wrong Diagnosis We have been servicing our 2011 Santa Fe at Glassman Hyundai since we moved to MI from OH in 2015. We have spent thousands of dollars because we know We have been servicing our 2011 Santa Fe at Glassman Hyundai since we moved to MI from OH in 2015. We have spent thousands of dollars because we know the importance of good service. We both have past careers (retired now) with dealerships, (one being a Controller and other Customer Service for over 40 years each). We purchased 4 new tires from Glassman in July, 2016. The tires never rode smooth and were noisy. We complained every time we had service done since, with no help. Finally in April, 2018 they said the tires were worn and we needed new tires again. We had only put 26,000 miles on these tires and they were 55-60,000 mile tires. Since we felt that the diagnosis was improper, we questioned them, with no help. We went to another dealership, who found the sway bar, ball joint control arm, struts and shocks were very worn and not safe to drive. This was causing pre-mature wear of tires. So we had this dealership replace all and put on 4 new tires. $2000 later we are satisfied with the drive and no noise. Glassman Hyundai did not diagnose the problem and just kept trying to sell tires. We would strongly urge anyone who is thinking of using their service to beware. We could have had an accident for badly worn parts, thinking our vehicle was safe since we service it regularly and always service as needed. We only have 58,000 miles on the 2011 Santa Fe, so it has been well taken care of. We contacted the Owner and the Service Director of Glassman Hyundai. They did nothing to help us or admit to a error in diagnosis. We will not return and plan to contact Hyundai Motor Division about the problem we encountered with Glassman. More
One of the worse Subaru service centers Unless you've a leased vehicle please don't take your personal vehicle to this dealership. I couldn't get the passenger side camber bolt out to insta Unless you've a leased vehicle please don't take your personal vehicle to this dealership. I couldn't get the passenger side camber bolt out to install a lift spacer kit. When i called the service representative he said he would get it installed and aligned. It was too hard to believe that the dealership would do install an aftermarket part that i bought, so I called back to confirmed that they would install the part and to my disbelief he said yes they would. I get a call later in the afternoon that they cannot do that and he said all he could do was remove the bolt and grease it up and put it back so it would come out easier. $67 later they did nothing but remove a bolt and put it back. The service representative was in such a hurry all the time, didn't listen to what i was asking. Very unprofessional and irresponsible. I called him to return my money cause my issue still isn't solved, obviously he had a stupid reason that he couldn't return my money. More
