The noise sounds like a tapping in the motor similar to a lawnmower. More
pretty sure i got ripped off My car had under 50000 miles on it and the check engine light came on. I had the car diagnosed by a local shop and the code 106 came up. He told me to call the dealership to check my warranty. I happened to call on the last day of warranty! So I rushed my car in that day. I was very pleased to learn that the part I would need would be covered. They kept my car over night to run diagnostics. I came in to pick up my car the next day and was told the car just needed an update. I thought, ok cool. My car doesn't need to be kept longer for work to be done. But you guessed it, my check engine light came back on the next day and has come on about 4 times since. So now the part that I probably needed FROM THE BEGINNING won't be ordered under my warranty. I just feel jerked around and my time is not being considered. I don't have time to bring my car in any random time...especially for something that could have and should have been figured out the first time. Then about two weeks later I bring my car in because my tire key is stripped and won't come off. The service department didn't even try to help me out or give me any information on how the key gets replaced and cost. THEY SENT ME TO FIRESTONE next door for them to figure out. Just the worst. So long story short, every time I go to this service department, nothing gets fixed and my time gets completely wasted. However, the woman I spoke with in the service department was nice-its not her fault that my car didn't get fixed. When I called back saying my check engine light came back on, she just told me to bring it back in. However, I have not had the time to leave my car there. I'm a nanny and need my car to transport children. Sincerely, Extremely frustrated. More

Took too long to replace a switch I dropped off my car on Thursday before noon. I asked for the normal service and noted two problems. Passenger side window switch not operating, and n I dropped off my car on Thursday before noon. I asked for the normal service and noted two problems. Passenger side window switch not operating, and no power to the auxiliary outlets in the center console. I said I would be back to pick up the car on the following Monday. I was told that they would check out the switch and give me a call later that day. Did not receive a call. I had to call the shop on Friday evening. Told they had not ordered the part until late Friday and the car would not be ready on Monday. This meant I would have to Uber back to the westside were I live and back out to the shop the following day (an added $70) I was called Tuesday at about 11:00 and told the car was ready and being sent out to be washed at that time. I arrived about 1:00, waited for some one to get there then told the car was still being washed (how long does that take) I finally left around 2:30 as the car was brought up. I was VERY disappointed with how long it took to check the car, change the oil, replace a fuse and change a door switch More

Check Engine light on a roadtrip Avo was awesome. I met him just after 8 am on a Saturday morning after driving from my home in NorCal the previous day. He was technically proficien Avo was awesome. I met him just after 8 am on a Saturday morning after driving from my home in NorCal the previous day. He was technically proficient enough to guess the root cause of my check engine light. But that's not why I'm giving him 5 stars. Real customer service starts from a position of empathy. He told me a quick story about his wife's family breaking down on a lonely stretch of Texas highway, then I knew he understood my anxiety about driving back up I-5 with that little dashboard light staring back at me. He promised a diagnosis in 2-3 hours and then reduced to 1 hour turnaround time after listening to my story about following my hockey team down the coast. Its was just a great experience. The only reason I give the dealership 4 stars, is the phone operator was not helpful setting up an appointment, or setting real expectations over the phone when we called from I-5 the day before. More

Shopping for a new car My husband and I started shopping for a new vehicle a few months back and we visited about 6 or 7 dealerships where no one really tried to "sell" us o My husband and I started shopping for a new vehicle a few months back and we visited about 6 or 7 dealerships where no one really tried to "sell" us on their cars until we found Glendale Hyundai. We had done an extensive amount of research pre-visiting any dealerships and agreed that we wanted a compact SUV preferably with Apple CarPlay. After a few test drives around a block where salesmen couldn't tell us about any specs on the vehicles, we test drove the Tucson with Pam and Jaime and they were the most kind, helpful associates in our first time car buying process. We ended up waiting a few months, but drove off with a brand new 2018 Tucson. Jaime worked out a great deal for us and we are so happy to have our new car! More
