I came to ElkMountainMotors to look for a new car. My Intention was to look for a VW Passat 2013 and when i meet Eric he told me about a VW Passat 2012. Reason why was because that Passat was cheaper tha Intention was to look for a VW Passat 2013 and when i meet Eric he told me about a VW Passat 2012. Reason why was because that Passat was cheaper than a brand new Passat and I liked that idea very much( I mean who wouldn't).... My 2005 Volkswagen Beetle had a burnt out front headlight and the rear hatch wouldn't stay up, so I brought it into Elkhorn Mountain Motors where I purchased it and the service agent who greeted me was Steve and the rear hatch wouldn't stay up, so I brought it into Elkhorn Mountain Motors where I purchased it and the service agent who greeted me was Steve Bruni. From the moment I entered I felt welcomed and that I and my car would be well taken care of. Steve was thorough in going over the servicing to be done, giving me estimates and asked if I needed transportation. The headlight was in stock and would take approximately an hour, so I chose to wait. Steve said he would order the struts for the rear hatch and call me as soon as the parts came in. The lounge was quite comfortable, with complimentary bottled water, lovely magazines like Town & Country and a flat panel TV. Steve stopped by a couple of times to see if I had everything I needed and to update me on the progress of the servicing. Several staff members walked by as I waited and they all had a welcoming 'Hello" for me. The car was finished right on time and even had a wash. True to his word, Steve called me when the part arrived for the rear hatch and I set up an appointment and the same excellent service was demonstrated again. His estimates were right on and the work done was superior. The headlight and rear hatch are now working beautifully. Eric Brekhus was the mechanic who serviced my car and he did a great job. We've bought cars at other dealerships in the past and dreaded the servicing,because it was such poor quality and the estimates given were way below the actual costs. We were looking at cars, trying to decide which one would be best suit our purpose, and when we walked into the Elk Mountain Motors dealership in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, we were met by Chase Wilfer who i be best suit our purpose, and when we walked into the Elk Mountain Motors dealership in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, we were met by Chase Wilfer who introduced himself to us and was perhaps the most polite, helpful car salesman we have ever met. Chase showed us the vehicles we were interested in and explained their options, prices etc. and answered all our questions and concerns, and was never pushy or high pressure. We thanked him, and explained we wanted to look at some other makes of cars and would get back to him if we were interested in a VW Passat TDI. Chase was very understanding, and never once tried to high pressure us into buying a car while we were there, and we really appreciated that. We thought about the Passat over the weekend, and called him on Monday morning and expressed our desire to learn more about the Passat and see if we could make a deal on it. Chase and Chris Hamlin, the Dealership Finance Director, helped us arrive at an agreeable price and gave us several options on financing. All in all, this was the most positive, pleasant car buying experience I have ever experienced, and I have purchased several vehicles in my fifty plus years of driving. We did decide on the 2013 Passat TDI, and in the week we have owned it, we are extremely happy with our decision, and would definitely recommend The Elk Mountain Motors Volkswagen dealership, and their very capable staff to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle.
