I had my first experience with Beford Ford a little over a year ago when my son purchased a car there. The salesman was Terry Howard and he was very friendly and helpful to us during the entire process. I recently decided I was ready to trade and got in touch with Terry. He helped me decide what vehicle would be best for me and the options I wanted in my new vehicle. When I purchased my Ford Taurus, Terry went through all the features with me and made sure I understood what all my new car had to offer. I feel if I have any questions in the future regarding any options or features, Terry would not hesitate to assist me. I will recommend Beford Ford to all my friends and family. More

I took my 2008 Ford Mustang GT in for a rearend gear swap (3.55 to 4.10). I even downloaded and printed the Ford manual out for the so called 'techs' to refer to during install. Average time for install acco (3.55 to 4.10). I even downloaded and printed the Ford manual out for the so called 'techs' to refer to during install. Average time for install according to manual, 4 HOURS. It took them two days because they claimed they were having issues with the shims. Now...Gear whine on deceleration. Brought it back. No word from anyone for the entire first day so I called at 5 PM and was told they'd be keeping it overnight (a phone call would have been nice. Luckily this is not my sole vehicle). Next day, I get a call from a female claiming that the techs drove the car, and that they did indeed hear the gears whining. However, I was told that according to 'the tech" it was "an acceptable amount of whine" and was not an issue. I'm thinking? Acceptable to who? Definitely not to me. So I ask how they are able to reach this conclusion and who or what exactly is determining what is an acceptable amount? To my knowledge there is no such thing as an acceptable amount. Either the gears are installed properly and therefore will not whine or they are installed improperly and will whine. Pretty simple, right? Well, long story short the female on the other end cannot answer my questions because she is simply relaying these messages to me from Steve Blankenship who she says will drive the car and then call me. Unfortunately, for some reason Steve apparently does not want to talk to me directly. Even after repeated promises from the female that he will call. He doesn’t. He even goes so far as to finally tell the female to tell me that he refuses to call me. However, as luck might have it, After several calls (on day 3) Steve happens to answer the phone. I ask him to please provide me with the final backlash reading from the install. He informs me that the female (sorry, I cant remember her name) will have to call me back with that information as it will take her awhile to get the documentation. He then goes on to explain to me that he knew I had spoke with her but thought my concern was about the rearend whining and not me asking for the Backlash reading (as if this matters as both are obviously related). He then comes at me with the whole "acceptable amount of rearend whine" story so I use this opportunity to ask him the question he's been avoiding for two days, 'What is an acceptable amount of rearend whine?' And explain to him that I simply do not believe there is such a thing. Needless to say I never do get an answer to this question. What I do get is a tirade of irrelevancy from Steve during which I am asked not to speak as he continues on about how they only charged me $550.00 for this job (*Apparently that’s the bargain price for installing them incorrectly? I wonder what he charges to install them correctly? I would have gladly paid that amount. I wasn’t bargain shopping) and how my car has an aftermarket shifter and it's set up to drive hard and he understands that because his son enjoys that kinda thing also and how he's not "gettin' back into that rearend" without me paying him. He's been doing this 20 years. He's certified (*but still takes him two days to attempt a 4 hour install apparently?) And how they don't guarantee this kinda stuff and he doesn’t know what I may have done to it after it left and blah, blah, blah. Apparently insinuating that it must have been me who somehow caused these gears to whine . I could go on and on reflecting on his argument based in nothing but a pathetic attempt to shift blame and avoid responsibility but I think you get the picture. Bottom line is my assumption is as follows: They done a crap job. He knew they did a crap job. They probably lost money because it took them two days to attempt to do a 4 hour job. He knew they couldnt get it right the first time. So he knew they couldnt fix their mistake the second time. In turn he tried to B.S. me. When that didn’t work he tried to blame me. When that didn’t work he simply asked me when I'd be picking up my car haha. Side note:. When I did pick up my car, one of the techs, a large shaven headed man, made it a point to come out from under the car he was working on to stare at me and smile obnoxiously. Was this an attempt to humiliate or intimidate me? Not sure, but if so, he was about as successful at it as he was at installing the rearend gears More
