My experience at Glynn Smith Chevrolet-Jeep Dealer was a pleasant one. The Sale Representative, (Dan Cooper) was courteous and had a pleasant attitude, which was helpful in assisting me with my selection. pleasant one. The Sale Representative, (Dan Cooper) was courteous and had a pleasant attitude, which was helpful in assisting me with my selection. Every step of the process went well. On the other hand, my experience at the service department was not as pleasant. When it was time for my oil change, I made an appointment. I arrived at the service depatment at least 10 minutes prior to my appointment. I was told that it would be one (1) hour waiting time. Which, to me made no sense, since I had an appointment. I was there approximately 2 hours. The personnel in the service department, were not as friendly and willing to assist as your sales department personnel. Although, I probably would buy another car from Glynn Smith, I wouldn't recommend your service department. Linda S. Mitchell More
Tried to trade for pickup advertised at "$12,*** , DO THE MATH".
My car (Less than 2K miles) had Kelly blue book trade in value of appx $17K. They had a car like mine but with 4 times the mileage a DO THE MATH".
My car (Less than 2K miles) had Kelly blue book trade in value of appx $17K. They had a car like mine but with 4 times the mileage and with out upgrades (Spoiler, fog lights and alloy wheels) on the lot for 'sale' at over 18K!
Value of my trade was confirmed later by Toyota dealer, and Kelly blue book online. I was told," it would take my trade (17K) plus a couple thousand" to make the deal ON A 12K TRUCK!!! So...17K plus 2K= $19,000!!!! (Plus I assume a mark-up when it is re-sold)
I "DID THE MATH......". IT DOES NOT ADD UP! Dealer keeps all rebates, PLUS a $5K profit on my trade, PLUS the $2K cash AND any additional mark-up they put on it when they sell it!!! (After all, a lesser car on thier lot was SALE priced at $18K) They were trying to make a profit total of over 7 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! On a truck advertised at 12K.
My advise.....YOU DO THE MATH FOR YOURSELF, BEFORE DEALING WITH THESE RIP OFF ARTISTS!!!
More
