brought my vehicle in due to an issue with the driver’s side infotainment screen, which went completely black the day before my appointment. The vehicle sat overnight, and when I started it the next day, the screen turned back on. Prior to my appointment, I researched this issue and found that it is a known concern with this model year. During my visit, I explained the situation in detail to the service department. The vehicle was connected to the diagnostic system, and I was told by the service manager, Juan, that because no error codes appeared, there was nothing that could be done. My concern was dismissed rather quickly, and I felt my explanation and research were not taken seriously. The interaction felt dismissive and left me with little confidence that my concern was properly evaluated. This is a vehicle that cost approximately $55,000 and is less than a year old. An infotainment screen going completely black, even intermittently, is not something I believe should be considered acceptable or simply brushed aside because the issue did not present itself at that exact moment. I am hoping for a more thorough review of this issue, guidance on known solutions or technical service bulletins if applicable, and reassurance that my concerns will be addressed with the level of care and professionalism expected for a vehicle in this price range.
