We take customer concerns seriously, but we also believe it's important to clarify several inaccuracies in this review. First and foremost, our General Manager did not use the language alleged in this review. In fact, the conversation ended after the customer repeatedly directed profanity toward our General Manager. We offer complimentary tire rotations and car washes with qualifying oil change services. However, certain vehicles, including the C7 Corvette, have limitations. Due to the Corvette's staggered tire sizes, a conventional tire rotation cannot be performed. Additionally, because of the vehicle's extremely low ground clearance, we do not run these vehicles through our automatic car wash out of concern for potential damage. While we understand the customer's disappointment that we could not accommodate his request for a complimentary hand wash, these services are not interchangeable with a full vehicle detail. Unfortunately, the situation escalated when the customer accelerated out of our service lane at an excessive rate of speed, creating a safety concern for our employees and other customers. When this behavior was addressed, the customer responded with profanity directed at our General Manager. We will always do our best to accommodate our customers, but the safety of our employees, customers, and their vehicles is nonnegotiable. We also expect our team members and customers to treat one another with basic courtesy and respect. We stand behind our team's handling of this situation and remain committed to providing professional, courteous service to everyone who visits Gordon Chevrolet.
