I spoke with the service representative about the anticipated completion time for my repair and was told by the end of the day, Saturday at the latest. As Friday and Saturday came and went I received no call from them. Needing my vehicle for Sunday I called and was told that appointments are not actually to be seen my the mechanics but just for the "flow of the bays," and that my vehicle was 10th in line and would not be completed until at least Monday. After asking to speak with a manager I was finally provided a rental vehicle. Monday comes and goes and no contact from the Service Center. I call them Monday afternoon to see if a diagnostic has been performed on the vehicle and they tell me that it is currently in the back being seen by a mechanic. Five hours later, they are about to close and they still have not called with a diagnosis. So I call them again and am told that he did not say that it was in the bay but that a "mechanic had just been assigned." Still no information about what is wrong with my vehicle and that "maybe" he might have answers tomorrow (Tuesday). Between the complete absence of communication, inaccurate information provided and having to call repeatedly to even reach someone due to hangups and unreturned voicemails, they are by far the most unprofessional dealership I have ever visited. To say the least I will NEVER be returning to Gordon Chevrolet and would not recommend anyone who requires their vehicle to navigate the world, who desires communication, or believes their time is valuable to patronize their business. Honestly, they used to be an effective shop and now this is by far the worst dealership experience I have ever had. NEVER AGAIN. More
Service didn't check to see if part was recalled My family has bought 2 cars from this dealer. I had an issue with my steering wheel locking so i took it in and they told me it was the Steering Gear My family has bought 2 cars from this dealer. I had an issue with my steering wheel locking so i took it in and they told me it was the Steering Gear that needed to be replaced mind you it was a 1700$ service plus part. They didn't bother to check the recall on it when it should show especially because my car hasn't hit 65000 miles. I took my car to a family friend mechanic that also works for chevy. Well he pulled up the recall from GM and told me to go get my money back because the part i paid for was recalled. I took it back and they told me they had to do the paper work for it to be approved. I still have yet to get my money back and its been over 2 weeks. I am extremely upset with them and feel like they do not care about their customers. They don't go above, to make their customers happy. More

service gone wrong I have had my car for only one year and already I have had a head gasket replaced, rack and pinion replaced twice, front wheel bearing and hub replace I have had my car for only one year and already I have had a head gasket replaced, rack and pinion replaced twice, front wheel bearing and hub replaced, steering gear replaced and fuel sender assembly replaced. Furthermore, I have complained on several occasions about my transmission having issues and each time they told me that they couldn't find a problem. Now that my transmission has finally gone out "THE DAY AFTER GETTING IT OUT OF THEIR SHOP" with no warranty might I add... I am stuck with the cost of repairs and GM is only covering %55 which is not right because I informed them about this problem LONG before my warranty was up. I first went to Marty Feldman’s dealership on Grand River to have my radio unlocked in my car because my battery died. They said over the phone it would be $40 witch I thought was a lot but I had no choice, to have my radio unlocked in my car because my battery died. There’s no way I’m paying $100 to turn on my radio? For reference you can buy the same radio (monsoon premium 6 disc cd) on ebay in perfect condition for $60. Marty Feldman wants almost twice the value of the whole radio unit just too simply turn it back on? I had my registration showing the car was mine so it was not a matter of theft prevention. So I called the next closest dealership to my house witch is this one in garden city. They said bring it in it will either be free or at a max $35. So I went in and they gave me accurate information over the phone as after unlocking my radio in a short time it was only $35. They even ran my car through the carwash for me. Will definitely be going to this dealership for anything else I need. More
Took my car in for repairs, on Thursday the 28th of Feb 2014. Called on Monday Mar 3rd of 2014 to see if it was done, and was told scents I didn't have a appointment that the car was never looked at. Appointments are only for the wright up for service not for the mach. or the car to be fixed and scents they already wroted me up, why wouldn't they have repaired my car? So, I had to take my car to another dealer to be fixed. Had it back the next day on the 4th of Mar 2014. And Gordon's let me take my car to another dealer without even trying to take care of this. Called GM to file a complaint, then Gordon's, calls back basicly said sorry. No, what can we do to make this better or nothing just sorry. It took 4 days, no calls, to fine out my car would not be worked on because I was a drive in and did not call for a appointment. That is just not right. More
Day 1. Took my 2010 Impala in for pre-warranty expiration check. No major issues with the vehicle. 9:30 am day 1. The advisor asked me for some specifics...there was a clip that came loose laying on the front passenger floor and a loose screw from the driver seat laying on the rear floor. I also mentioned it needed a new fob battery and could he check the main battery. xx brakes too. End of day one...said they found a coolant leak and would replace a gasket. Car would be ready on day 2. No courtesy vehicle available. Day 2 ...They called at 9:30 said they were working on coolant problem and would call me back in 2 hours with status..no call. I called at 1:30 and advisor apologized and said the car also needed an alignment and rotate, balance. I declined. The advisor said car would be ready on Day 3..but, it was a Saturday and no shuttle ride available. Told me to call Sat and check on car but it was his day off. Day 3 Called and not ready yet was told they would call back IF ready. I am writing this am of day 3 and still don't know if I'll have a car. P.S. Last week I went on a 1500 mile trip and had no problems with the car....the service manager had told me his mechanic had driven the car and detected a vibration..thus leading to the alignment, etc recommendation. I had the tires rotated and balanced 2 weeks before my trip. Last time I was at dealer (9-12 months) I was told the same thing and got an alignment. More
