"Planet Mitsubishi "

Bought a 2009 Mercedes from here before your purchase they say sweet little nothings to butter you up. After purchase they don't care and are crooked. About a month after having my vehicle the tail lamp went out { short in a wire which smoked } I took my car to the service center to get the problem repaired. I'm handy myself so I know about cars but I purchased this car through a dealership because I was tired of getting dirty. I was waiting for about 2 hours before they told me my car was ready and they gave me an oil change ( my appointment wasn't for an oil change ) so I got in my car turned on the lights and my tail lamp was still out. The tech tried to tell me the bulb was blown and gave me an outrageous price for bulb installation. So I popped my trunk messed with the shorted wire and my tail lamp illuminated(thought my bulb was blown guy). So after that I was very displeased with the service they couldn't do anything for my light being they gave me a xxxxxxxx warranty that doesn't cover xxxx( it's just sounds good when they say we give you a 2 year warranty). I had to take my car to Mercedes and got the tail lamp fixed no problem. They also told me I had 2 more "free" oil changes. So fast forward 2 years later I'm like let me see about getting my free oil change... now they tell me it expired. So I call the dealership to see if they could work with me being I was a customer their but I continued being out on hold for 10+ minutes. Disconnect phone calls and no straight forward answers. I was basically playing phone tag calling service and calling the showroom so I went to the dealership and they're crooks. Save yourself do not purchase a vechile from this dealership.

"Service department nightmare"

Worst experience I've ever had with a service department. Employee damaged my car and both Joe the service manager and the employee denied it until lawyer got involved. Also, when car was purchase the finance manager agreed to me having 2 free oil changes per year for 3 years. After the first 3 visits and scheduling my 4th oil change, upon arrival I was told they cannot honor that agreement anymore. Wasted time and money on my part. Planet Mitsubishi in Hempstead has the service department from xxxx!!!

I was scheduled for a airbag recall today. The dealer had no more air bags to service my vehicle. They actually went to 112 Mitsubishi to get my air bag and service my vehicle. Thanks guys great job. G. Lorde

"The Service Mgr name Alan Rumelt was very nasty and rude."

I have been trying to get my vehicle repaired at this dealership since July 14, 2015. I have been given all kinds of reasons as to why my car keep running hot, they told me 1st it was the thermostat which I had already had replaced, but they told me it had to be a Mitsubishi part which the removed and replaced charge me $306. 00 and I did not get 8 miles from the place and the same thing was happening. They had previously told me they had ran the diagnostic on it and the radiator, the hose, heater Core etc. was all working and they did not see any leaks. Only the thermostat need to be changed. then on last Thursday (July 28th) after having it for almost 2 weeks I was told the radiator had a small leak, They were given the ok to replace it for another $198.00. and now here it is Aug.10, 2015 and I still do not have my vehicle repaired. After several calls with no one return my calls, I went up and spoke with the Service Mgr Alan Rumelt who was very rude & nasty lied about what he had told me that my car would be ready last Wednesday. I feel I have been discriminated because I am a black woman, and treated very ugly at this location. He even turned his back on me to ignored me while I was talking to him about my vehicle. He had a very rude tone in his voice at me because I told him I had never had to wait this long at any dealership to get my car repaired. He should be fired because of his customer service attitude. He never gave me an answer why he had not returned any of my phone calls.

Nikki Frodge, but she did not know why my car had not been worked on, I started out with her 1st and she turn me over to Alan. because she did not know why all the things the mechanics were doing were not working.

"So disappointed"

Got into a car accident nothing major i rear end a car so my front grill on my outlander was was done aloso i was leaking transition fluid... so i thought not better choice than to take my car to the dealership service center. Insurance said seven days I gave them 14 and my work was not done when i wanted to collect my car. Sat for an hour waiting. Looking at be grill that was replace I could see straight up that the parts were gotten of a used car My car always looked great from the front now I just cant look at the poor workman ship. Never again will theses guys get my car work on.they dont even put down a piece of paper when they work on your car.. thats just a dirty dirty place..take the extra travel to Wantagh Mitsubishi they are where you want to be trust me....I am so mad right now.don't learn the hard way like i did.

Danielle you had brought your car to us for repair on a tow truck badly hit in the back ,We had your car with us to get it repaired but your insurance company geico would not pay for the entire claim and you were not in position to pay the difference and our company policy is we do not give any credit on service repairs. You were very upset and that is understandable. You decided to tow your car to Wantagh Mitsubishi dealership and I understand now your car is in there storage till you pay off your pending bill for repair. I am so sorry to see you in this situation

This is my first Mitsubishi car I visited almost every dealer on Long Island when I was looking for an Outlander since when I purchased mine it was near the end of the year and supplies and colors were limited. After I decided what color and options I wanted, I returned to Garden Mitsubishi since the sales person Jim Messa was very knowledgeable,nice and most of all he did not put any pressure on me to buy a car like most of the other dealers did. The Car I decided on was one he had in stock but it had already been sold he then told he would locate the car I was looking for. He searched and found a few similar cars and asked me to come in to sign some paperwork so that he could arrange to pick up the car. When I got there he told me that the one he had in stock the deal fell through and it was up to me to let him know which one I wanted. Jim is an asset to your company and I have recommended that anyone looking to buy a car should go see Jim an the rest of the sales staff at Garden Mitsubishi. they are all very nice and treat you like family. I have had my car serviced twice at your dealer and I have been taken care of by Chris in the service department. he has alway been very professional with me and i feel very confident that he is taken good care of my car
