Great dealer helped me find a great car When it was time for me to get my first car, the first place I thought to go was Grand Junction Subaru. My dad bought his 2009 Subaru Forester there a few years ago and my whole family was really happy with it. A forester was my top car for me from the get-go, so we decided to stop by GJ Subaru. Lee Carlson was our dealer and was very helpful and friendly. He really cared about getting me a great and reliable first car. He was very courteous and friendly and shared stories with us and made a real connection. He also worked hard to find the right car that I was looking for, and showed us several different cars, all very good quality. Then, when he heard that a 2006 Subaru Forester was getting traded in, he made sure to put us as his first priority to show us the car and make sure we had the first look, even though there were more people who were interested. He made sure the whole process was comfortable and that we were informed of the car and everything that we would need to know. We test drove the car and he was very helpful the whole time and took care of any concerns we had. We decided to buy the car on the spot and he made sure that there were no surprises or anything. The car had low miles, was in great shape, and best of all, a low and convenient price, even lower than we had suggested that it be. This impressed me because it showed that they really want to actually get you the best car that you could possibly get for an affordable price. They kept the car for a couple days so they could inspect it and make sure it was in the best condition it could be in for me. They put new tires and new brakes on it as well as completely washed and cleaned the entire interior, and it didn't even cost anything. I've had my car for several weeks now, and it's exactly what they told me it would be. No surprises, and it's in great shape. It's EXACTLY what I wanted when I started looking for my first car. Lee Carlson did an awesome job at finding me the best car possible for an affordable price and I really recommend him. I am so happy with my car and I can't imagine having anything else. The entire process was perfect and completely painless. I strongly recommend Grand Junction Subaru and Lee Carlson for any car that you need because they will do the best job, as they've proven to me twice now. I am really happy with my entire experience! I ended up getting a 4-cylinder Legacy with a dark interior. None of these were what I had anticipated. Yet, in retrospect, I am grateful that I was open-minded to learning more about my options, and making these choices. Automobile technology, the economy, and my needs have all changed over the past decade. Tony made it easy for me to update my understanding of these factors for 2014. And I paid a price that seems fair and reasonable. Subaru of Grand Junction continues to earn its reputation as a great dealership for the Western Slope. More
