our recent visit (1/25/23) to this dealership was not satisfying to put it lightly! my boyfriend needed a car asap because his car crapped out on him. we went through different research channels and got satisfying to put it lightly! my boyfriend needed a car asap because his car crapped out on him. we went through different research channels and got pre-approved through our local credit union. we just needed to pick a car and execute the paperwork process. we came here, looked at the car, test drove it, only for things to drastically change when it came to financing and we told them we had gotten pre-approved. they told us ATLEAST 5 TIMES they had to run our credit to match or get a better rate and seemed really upset they we kept saying no. we didn’t want our credit ran again because we are going to be purchasing a house in the next few months and didn’t want another ding on our credit. they then proceeded to get the sales manager who insisted on the same thing. after 4 hours of being there and with our toddler at that it was a complete waste of time and energy! they turned us away because we refused to finance with them to make the purchase. i understand needing commission off a sale and thinking you all could get us a better rate but the fact that we told you our plans for house buying and that we didn’t want multiple dings on our credit with no guarantee they could get us a better rate and ACTUALLY was willing to lose a guaranteed sale is beyond me. i’ve purchased many vehicles and i’ve never seen them turn away a customer for this and with an almost 800 credit score just because we refused to in house finance! in the long wrong we are glad we didn’t do business with this dealership. went to nissan in rockwall the next day and was done with keys in hand in about 4 hrs! i wouldn’t recommend this dealership based off our recent personal experience ESPECIALLY if like us, get pre-approved prior to purchasing.
