Pleased Twice in Less Than Two Years! This is the second Forester I have shopped for/purchased at Grand Prix. Last year I left with a 2010; last month I received an "exchange offer" and, with only 22,500 miles on a five year old Forester, I got very good numbers to encourage me to go for the 2015. Roy Wander was 100% helpful - and that is not enough to fairly state how he went above and beyond to answer my questions, even answering via Email late into the evening. He was, by far, the most professional and proficient saleman I have ever dealt with when shopping for a car. When I went to arrange for the bumper-to-bumper coverage, Howie covered all the bases without trying to sell me what I know I did not want: that's the best thing to have happen when sitting at that desk. All in all, Grand Prix Subaru is a place that I have recommended - and will continue to recommend, not only because of the quality of products but also because of the caliber of employees. DMc More

We thought we had seen every type of personality there was until we met Jamie Borack from Grand Prix Subaru in Hicksville, NY. She is by far the most helpful, knowledgeable, personable and friendly salesperson we have ever met. The process of leasing a car for us in the past has been very lengthy and cumbersome, but not this time. She went the extra mile to figure out how we could get the car we wanted at the price we could afford. From start to finish she made the process very easy and comfortable for us. I was very pleased with the communication we had as I had several questions I needed to ask her by phone. She called me back every time and addressed and answered every question and concern we had. In the past when I had leased cars, the salesperson always told me things I needed to do post-transaction, like call my insurance company, fax some paperwork, etc. Jamie did everything for us, so all we needed to do was drive away, and we did, with our new 2015 Forester which we love. Jamie (Borack) was beyond friendly and knowledgeable, she answered all of my questions and made me feel extremely at ease during the whole process, not once did I feel pressured to buy anything I didn't want... vehicle delivery was quick and painless (I've been stuck at dealers for hours waiting for my car, not the case with Jamie!... everything was waiting and ready to go!) ... I purchased this car(2015 Legacy) for my wife, Jamie went out of her way to call my wife to make sure she was happy! I went into the dealership with a pre-approved car loan with what I felt was a descent interest rate... Jenna(Donnelly) in finance worked with me and got me a much better rate...Again, while working with Jenna she went over my options for extended warranties in-depth, answered all my questions, but I felt no pressure to buy anything... It was the best experience I've ever had with a finance person at a car dealership... Usually after going through the whole process of making a deal on a new car you have to deal with pushy finance people that try to get you to spend even more money... Not the case with Jenna, just honest information and helpful suggestions. Twice during the whole process I was approached by the dealership management (Dan Ross/General Manager & Jayson Schrager/Sales Manager)...they went out of their way to make sure that everything I needed was being taken care of and they thanked me personally for my business. I would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new Subaru! I'm going to be in the market for a new car myself in two years... I might just get a Subaru so I can deal with this team again! More
