The $225 diagnostic fee was disclosed when the vehicle was brought in, and the agreement was signed. We conducted tests on the battery and alternator in accordance with warranty procedures. Our findings indicated that the battery had a bad cell and insufficient cold-cranking amps. Since the issue was with the battery, no extended service policy claim could be filed. We contacted you with the findings, at which time you expressed a preference for replacing the battery elsewhere and dissatisfaction with the diagnostic fee. In an effort to assist, the total charge was reduced to $115.40, and the vehicle was subsequently picked up. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations.
